What You Will Be Doing:
You’ll be responsible for coordinating the activities of both the CW Network Maintenance team and in house maintenance activities maintenance staff and deal with contractors as well as managing and reporting on contract activity and service contracts within area. You’ll also be responsible for:
Support maintenance operations across the county network, working closely with the Maintenance and Network Maintenance Manager to ensure reliable asset performance.
Plan, coordinate and deliver preventative, predictive and planned maintenance activities to maximise compliance and minimise downtime.
Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve asset and network faults, implementing effective solutions to recurring operational issues.
Manage maintenance projects and contractors, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Drive continuous improvement and support the implementation of innovative technologies and maintenance practices across the network.
Provide technical guidance to operational teams, influence maintenance decisions, and maintain accurate performance and maintenance records to support operational excellence.
What We Are Looking For:
To be successful in this role you’ll need to be time served in a relevant engineering discipline and hold HNC, ONC or equivalent certification in a relevant technical area. You’ll also have:
Experience in maintenance, engineering, maintenance planning, or a related operational environment, with strong supervisory or leadership capability.
Proven knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance principles, helping to improve asset reliability and performance.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across teams and stakeholders.
Ability to analyse technical and operational challenges, identify root causes, and implement practical, effective solutions.
Demonstrated track record of improving productivity, maintaining high performance standards, and addressing performance issues where required.
Good levels of computer literacy and administration skills, with an understanding of company procedures, safety standards, regulatory requirements, fault-finding and repair activities.
