Here’s where you come in

As Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you’ll work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Product and Customer Success to support the entire customer journey and help Unibuddy achieve our acquisition, engagement and retention goals. You will be responsible for every stage of the funnel to improve customer nurture and help achieve revenue targets.

As lifecycle marketing is a new function at Unibuddy, you will lead in building the strategy across email, push, SMS and in-app. You will also be responsible for implementing and executing the strategy you create and have real ownership over your area of expertise.

What you’ll be doing

  • Salesforce and Marketing CRM (Pardot, HubSpot) admin

  • Segment and build customers lists with actionable data

  • Partner with the Events team to nurture registrants and attendees

  • Nurture top-of-funnel leads to conversion

  • Continually test and improve campaign efficiency across all channels

  • Support sales in outbound outreach sequences by aligning messaging and building automations

  • Execute multi-channel marketing across email, SMS, Intercom, and in-app messaging

  • Link contacts to customer profiles to provide more data accessibility to Customer Success team and engage customers through nurture

  • Drive product adoption by optimizing onboarding and tracking and utilizing in-app customer behavior

  • Educate customers on how to utilize the product for maximum ROI and to meet their business objectives

  • Identify cross-sell/upsell opportunity and build out retention initiatives

  • Support student marketing campaigns for end user

This might be for you if

  • Have experience in B2B lifecycle marketing and have success stories as well as lessons to share; higher education experience a big plus

  • Have led full-funnel lifecycle marketing, not just pre or post acquisition

  • Have experience working in, or demonstrated ability to flourish in, a fast-moving startup environment

  • Are a technical expert with experience using Salesforce Pardot or equivalent CRM

  • Have knowledge of SQL and customer segmentation

  • Have superb attention to detail to ensure output is of consistently high quality

  • Canbe agile — you are flexible to re-prioritize on the fly without sacrificing utmost attention to detail

  • Possess strong communication skills, both written and oral

  • Are a strong writer with experience writing channel-specific messaging

  • Bring an “always learning” growth mindset to the team and to your work

  • Embody ‘impact over input’ and able to ruthlessly prioritize the most revenue and business-impacting initiatives

  • Knowledge of GDPR (EU), CASL (Canada) and CCPA (U.S.) privacy laws
