Join TUI BLUE Hotels as Sales Manager at our 5* TUI BLUE Nam Hoi An, Vietnam. The hotel Sales Manager plays a crucial role in driving revenue for a hotel by attracting guests and promoting the property’s amenities and services. You will be responsible managing a set of strategic accounts as directed by Director of Sales and develop strategies and detailed account plans while pro-actively driving both existing and new partnerships to meet and exceed targets. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, meeting sales goals, and staying abreast of market and competition performance as well as industry trends.
This position is located at our TUI BLUE Nam Hoi An, Vietnam and offers hybrid working.
ABOUT THE JOB
- To develop a clear understanding of the hotels business strategies to implement hotel’s short, mid and long-term strategy in conjunction with Sales Leader, Revenue Leader, Hotel(s), Hotel General Manager and other stakeholders.
- Identify key markets and potential clients to target for business development / new account acquisition.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue and achieve sales targets.
- Conduct regular meetings and presentations to showcase the hotel’s offerings.
- Set clear account plans and targets per account and track and measure performance.
- Issuing tactical promotions as and when required in line with the booking windows for each key feeder market.
- Gather actionable data from partners to ensure consistent and continual optimization of strategies and any campaigns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts and develop and strengthen relations with new accounts through increased engagement and interaction.
- Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked: negotiate with clients, issue contracts, prepare correspondence, finalise presentations, sharing internal updates ..etc..
- Support the preparation of revenue budget and annual sales expense budgets including the annual sales activities calendar.
- Regularly evaluate business potential and opportunities in new geographical markets and across new market segments.
- Remain informed on market trends, competitor activities and industry developments.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
- Regularly visiting the competition to remain updated and informed. Track and monitor competitor performance.
- Gathering market intelligence, monitoring travel trends locally and internationally to understand shifts in business and adapt sales strategies when relevant.
- Share feedback on competition and market activities: new hotel openings, organisation structures, pricing, tactical promotions, new accounts and partners, existing accounts, and partners etc…
- Collaborate with revenue management teams to optimise pricing strategies and maximise rooms and total hotel revenue.
- Share ideas to drive additional revenue and consider innovative opportunities of product distribution: online systems, websites, networks, partnerships etc.
- Identify opportunities to shift contracting to direct connectivity across the wider TUI Hotels & Resorts portfolio.
- Prepare account forecasts to monitor, analyse and report sales performance against KPIs / targets.
- Attend client, group and team meetings when required both locally and internationally (when relevant)
ABOUT YOU
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in English. Other languages including Vietnamese desirable.
- Highly experienced in the management of sales, preferably with an international hotel/resort background.
- Computer literate and proficient across Microsoft and other systems.
- The demonstrated ability to source, implement and develop successful commercial sales strategies to meet financial goals.
- A pro-active and result driven individual, ready to aggravate the market and accelerate the brand locally.
- A structured and strong organised individual with the baily to analyse and influence.
- Able to work as part of an international team, to work under pressure and balancing multiple tasks while remaining customer centric.
- Effective negotiating and decision-making skills with a strategic focus.
