Job Description

Join TUI Hotels & Resorts as a Restaurant Manager where you will ensure the smooth running of the hotel’s restaurant venues. Our Food & Beverage concept is one of our brand’s most defining experiences; your role is to lead and develop your team while consistently delivering high-quality dining experiences for hotel guests.

This role is located at TUI BLUE Schladming, Austria.

Eligibility: Due to work permissions, this position is available only to EU citizens/passport holders. Fluent verbal and written German (C1) plus English (C2) is required for this role.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Deliver an excellent restaurant experience for hotel guests.
  • Maintain a strong operational presence within the restaurant areas, particularly during peak service periods, ensuring service standards and guest satisfaction remain consistently high.
  • Actively engage with guests to gather feedback, resolve concerns promptly and continuously enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal SOPs, brand standards and HACCP food safety guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service quality, operational efficiency and guest satisfaction within the restaurant operation.
  • Prepare and manage the restaurant roster for all service team members, taking into account occupancy forecasts, operational demands and scheduled events.
  • Oversee the presentation and accuracy of all food and beverage labelling, including menu cards, buffet signage, and promotional materials, ensuring they are correct, maintained to a high standard, and that all allergens are accurately indicated.
  • Support cost control through effective supervision of service standards, waste management and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews and development discussions, identifying training needs and implementing relevant development initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and wider hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery and a consistent guest experience.


ABOUT YOU

  • A confident, approachable and service-focused leader.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant management or supervisory role within a hotel or high-volume hospitality environment highly desirable.
  • Completed vocational qualification or professional training relevant to hospitality or food and beverage management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop team members.
  • Excellent guest service skills with a strong focus on delivering memorable dining experiences.
  • Strong organisational and communication abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple operational priorities.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective communication across your department and with other hotel departments, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  • Language required – Fluent verbal and written German (C1) plus English (C2) is required for this role. Additional languages are highly advantageous.
  • EU Citizen/Passport holder required.
