Job Description

Joining the Record to Report Team in Sousse in this new position you will support the Group IT team in the international Finance team responsible for Technology investments and management of IT cost base.

The role will initially be focused on providing support to the UK based IT Finance team helping to ensure that monthly reporting is completed on a timely and accurate basis in line with reporting deadlines and helping to maintain the balance sheet reconciliations for the UK based operating entity of the TUI IT function.

Good entry level role for someone looking to gain an initial grounding in finance. You will be confident, articulate, driven by change and have a strong ability to be agile and respond quickly to challenges and not afraid to bring forward new ideas. A curiosity and interest in new technology would be advantageous in the success of this role.

ABOUT THE JOB

    • Provide support to the Finance Manager – Accounting in completion of IT Overheads month end
    • Balance sheet reconciliations
    • Maintaining monthly reports including forecast and IT Capex reporting
    • Providing analysis of variances to forecast and budget
    • Producing reports for Senior Management
    • Liaising with various members of the finance community on queries relating to TTGS balance sheet position and overheads cost base
    • Providing support for budget and 3 year plan process
    • Responsible for processing of invoices and ensuring payables are coded correctly and have been through correct approval hierarchy
    • supporting wider team to ensure data collection is up to date

ABOUT YOU

      • University degree in accounting is a nice to have
      • Experience in similar role will be advantageous.
      • Good written and spoken language skills in English.
      • A methodical, organized approach to the execution of assigned tasks
      • Strong Excel skills
      • Strong analytical and modelling skills
      • Capable of building relationships cross border with multiple business partners at all levels
      • An individual who never stops looking ahead, raising improvements in current procedures, seeking new ways to delight customers and grow the business.
