As an Operational Maintenance Planner (OMP), you'll play a crucial role in coordinating both scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance tasks to the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

The OMP team are based in the TUI Operations Control Centre (TOCC), a truly integrated service provider to all the TUI Group Airlines.

To enable prompt adaptation when there are operational variations, whilst upholding safety in a dynamic fast paced environment, the role is 12-hour shift based, covering days and nights.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Plan, control, and administer all line maintenance requirements for TUI Group aircraft.
  • Coordinate unscheduled maintenance during line operations.
  • Monitor and manage scheduled component replacements.
  • Negotiate with Line/Base Maintenance and Engineering Planning teams.
  • Review and plan defect rectifications across our fleet.
  • Maintain accurate aircraft management systems.
  • Create and distribute Work Packages.
  • Define line maintenance night-stop plans across our network.
  • Provide vital telephone support to airline staff, engineers, and maintenance providers.
  • Balance maintenance requirements with operational flying programs.

ABOUT YOU

  • Strong knowledge of airline operations planning processes.
  • Solid understanding of aircraft maintenance programs and schedules.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Confident negotiation skills and decisive decision-making abilities.
  • Operational knowledge of TUI Group Fleet, Operations, and Engineering.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to shift changes and operational disruptions.
