Job Description

Please note this job posting is made on behalf of TUI BLUE Curaçao. However, GSM Realco B.B.V will be the employer of record for this position. While TUI is involved in the recruitment process, all employment contracts, payroll, and employment-related responsibilities will be managed by GSM Realco B.B.V.

TUI BLUE Curacao is seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Manager (Pre-opening experience). In this key role, you will report directly to the General Manager and play a pivotal role in upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests. You will manage all functions related to the cleanliness of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house non-kitchen areas, as well as the laundry and dry-cleaning operation (hotel linen, uniforms and guest laundry).

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Oversee all housekeeping operations, guaranteeing impeccable service and cleanliness throughout the hotel
  • Develop, implement, and refine efficient housekeeping procedures and standards to optimize performance
  • Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to foster a high-functioning team
  • Work in partnership with Front Office/Guest Services, Reservations and F&B to ensure guest’s needs are determined /met and oversee the overall smooth operation of housekeeping department.
  • Conduct full daily inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with our cleanliness standards
  • Supervise inventory control for linens, uniforms, and cleaning supplies to maintain operational efficiency
  • Ensure that all set policies, procedures, best practices are in place and rigorously enforced.
  • Instill a cost-focused philosophy through training and education.

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience in a housekeeping management role within a large hotel or hospitality environment. Pre-opening experience is essential.
  • Ability to effectively use electronic devices, including PCs, email platforms, and hotel Property Management Systems (PMS)
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • A strong commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences
  • Meticulous attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; additional language skills are a plus
  • Hands-on, solution-driven mindset
