
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) & Well- Being Manager to work closely with a mix of people from the HR & Business teams, to support the execution and embedding the DEI & Well -Being Strategy into the organisation. Working with internal & external stakeholders you will be responsible in ensuring that the organisation follows appropriate legislation and employment law regulations around bias and inclusion and will act on key activities/ training to upskill the overall workforce on DE&I and wellbeing.
You will coordinate and execute across the TUI Group promoting activities, sharing best practice, and encouraging colleagues to be involved in the strategic agenda by sharing stories, successes gaining involvement of all colleagues. This is a role for someone that is experienced in the DEI & Wellbeing agenda, have worked in a global role, is highly organised, personal and adaptable with strong project management and communication skills and a strong , demonstrable interest in diversity, equity and inclusion.
This role can be based from our Luton, London, Hannover, Rijswijk, Zaventem or Stockholm office and here at TUI we believe that work is something you do not somewhere you go, therefore we are pleased to advise we can consider a hybrid working model for this role. ABOUT THE JOB
- Creating and implementing plans driven from the overall strategic agenda to promote diversity equity, Inclusion and wellbeing into our global organisation that creates a sense of belonging and a culture that allows people to ‘come as they are’.
- Ability to act as facilitator for diversity, equity &inclusion including wellbeing matters and will be tasked with ensuring we follow appropriate legislation and employment law regulations.
- Research current and emerging trends in this landscape and identify opportunities to promote DEI & Well-being within TUI Group, linked to the employee journey and contribute to the execution of the DEI, Well-being strategy.
- Maintain key relationship with local DEI (ERG’s) & Wellbeing colleagues with the intention of working together to improve working engagement and our brand.
- Review the organisation workplace policies and procedures, ensuring that these are all non-biased & inclusive.
- Develop, plan and execute the TUI Group DE& I and Wellbeing activities using your network and internal communications to create and build awareness and engage all colleagues with the strategy and allow them to be 100% involved.
- Prepare data so that we can share progress with the organisation and benchmark ourselves against leading organisations in the these areas.
- Be the external TUI Representative for all external events acting as a key point of contact to speak at external events or support local agendas by sharing the overall TUI Strategy
- Take the lead on a portfolio of work to promote DEI & Well-being within TUI Group such as our partnership programmes and our employee networks.
- Support and facilitate internal teams in the implementation and embedding of the TUI Group strategy in their areas and to ensure that DEI & Well-being requirements remain fully linked to and part of the overall strategy.
- Monitor and report on our progress against the DEI, Well-being objectives and projects ,, celebrating success, identifying key opportunities for improvements and amplifying key messages.
ABOUT YOU
- Passionate and proven experience of implementing a global strategy, policies or initiatives that have engaged an organisation and made a difference.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to maintain relationships, seen as someone who will follow through on their commitment to execute and follow up on initiatives agreed.
- Strong organisational skills in setting up events, meetings, trainings with the ability to evaluate the engagement from the organisation to continually improve the way we do things.
- Strong network and relationship skills with the ability to inspire, influence and negotiate at all levels within the organisation.
- Ability to translate the TUI Group’s strategic agenda and drive the execution of activities through local networks allowing for better collaboration and speed of initiatives into the organisation.
- Have experience of an Employee Value Proposition and influence the agenda and provide focus and clarity on behalf of DE& I and Wellbeing.
- Great awareness of global and cultural influences and a passion for people and making TUI a better place to work.
- Ability to travel to the global destinations & offices to meet and work with the local teams.
- The role is for a fluent English speaker with German desirable but not essential.
