Join TUI BLUE Hotels as the Director of Sales at our 5* TUI BLUE Nam Hoi An, Vietnam. This sales leadership role is responsible for delivering the hotel revenues goals and pro-actively oversee the creation, implementation, and execution of the sales strategies for all key segments.
The position will also be responsible for aggravating, developing, and fostering relationships with existing and new accounts, defining the regional sales processes, and directing the appointed sales team to deliver results, while personally managing high potential key accounts. You will play an integral role in the revenue management strategy of the hotel introducing new revenue maximisation initiatives.
This position is located at our TUI BLUE Nam Hoi An, Vietnam and offers hybrid working.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Manage and deliver the hotel revenue budget by leading the sales team to focus on the right accounts and sales initiatives to drive performance.
- Support the team to realise key markets and potential clients to target for business development / new account acquisition.
- Lead on regular business evaluation potential to grow opportunities in new geographical markets and across new market segments.
- Gathering and analysing both internal and external data and information to identify all possible revenue maximisation opportunities and minimise risk.
- Finalising and implementing the hotels sales and marketing plans.
- Participating in the budgeting process: revenue development and sales and marketing expenses.
- Sharing ideas to drive additional revenue and consider innovative opportunities of product distribution: online systems, websites, networks, partnerships etc.
- Delivering the highest quality of service to customers at every touch point throughout their customer journey.
- Collaborate with wider sales and revenue teams across TUI Hotels & Resorts to identify opportunities to shift contracting to direct connectivity across the wider business portfolio.
- Owning and managing productive relationships with all existing accounts and developing and strengthening relations with new accounts through increased engagement and organising fam trips, educating accounts through presentations both face to face and virtually, attending trade fairs, and going on sales trips to feeder market.
ABOUT YOU
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be fluent in English. Other languages including Vietnamese desirable.
- Must have deep knowledge of both Inbound and Domestic markets in Vietnam.
- Must have broad network of contacts and partnerships in the Travel industry, corporate accounts.
- Analytic mindset. Data driven and targets committed.
- Highly experienced in the management of sales within an international branded hotel/resort
- Computer literate and proficient across Microsoft and other systems.
- Degree/Diploma in business sales or related field with a focus or experience within the Tourism, Travel, Hospitality, Marketing or Business Management.
- The demonstrated ability to source, implement and develop successful commercial sales strategies to meet financial goals.
- A pro-active and result driven individual, ready to aggravate the market and accelerate the brand locally.
- A structured and strong organised individual with the baily to analyse and influence.
- Experience sales leader with the leadership ability to support, coach, and mentor a team of Sales Managers while remaining customer centric.
- Able to work as part of an international team, to work under pressure and balancing multiple tasks, flexible working hour including outside office hours when required.
- Effective negotiating and decision-making skills with a strategic focus.
- Able to travel locally and internationally when needed.
