Job Description

Working with the Content Production team, the Digital Training Manager will create and manage compliant, efficient and effective pilot & cabin crew e-learning, training & checking material and management of the associated systems that deliver and track distance learning. This role combines creativity within a regulatory framework to create pilot & cabin crew digital training content that is engaging and relevant in a modern, evolving airline industry via a variety on-line, off-line and remote learning methods, ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery. A familiarity with LMS systems currently used across TUI Airline will be a plus.

This role may be based in Luton, Rijswijk, Zaventem, Hannover or Stockholm.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Responsible for creating unified TUI digital training content and supporting information and ensure its integration and delivery throughout the wider business
• Collaborate with the Content Production Officers to align training content across TUI
• Identify requirements, opportunities and business needs and be responsible for the creation and updates of e-training material across TUI and make recommendations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
• Embed a culture which empowers and focuses on safety and efficiency, as well as people engagement, to create an effective, efficient, and compliant TUI Group training organisation
• Continually monitor training requirements and evaluate outcomes, make recommendations, and research and identify new technologies and methodologies to support and deliver effective e-training including the systems used for delivery
• Ensure all e-training is both compliant and in line with regulatory requirements along with being engaging to its audience of Pilots and Cabin Crew

ABOUT YOU

• Creative and innovative thinker with the ability to bring new & conceptual training ideas and solutions alive in an online environment
• Someone who recognises and aspires to the importance of world class efficient training
• A passion for continuous improvement and the ability to drive change
• Experience in a regulated aviation training environment would be an advantage
• IT literate with good skills in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products, e-learning platforms, and creative software
• An ability to take the complex & uncoordinated and turn into something easily understood and aligned
• Organised and resilient, with the ability to challenge and positively influence both internally within a matrix management structure
• A diplomatic team player with great people skills and leadership qualities
• Excellent communicator, written and verbal with attention to detail
• Ability to work remotely and with a diverse team across different countries
• A willingness to travel within Europe if required
