Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Data Scientist to join our dynamic Data Science team at TUI Musement. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical team to develop AI products that address key business challenges and provide personalized solutions for customers. You have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams to collect feedback, optimize, iterate, and learn. As the Data Science Team, we are enabling the business with predictive and prescriptive insights that facilitate their decision-making, and developing innovative solutions to enhance customer experience or automate operational processes. You will play a role in shaping and implementing the AI and Data science strategy at TUI Musement.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Work directly with Product owners, Data analysts, Data engineers, and Machine learning engineer to design, develop, deploy and monitor AI and Machine learning products that are standard and scalable

• Directly engage with business stakeholders to deeply understand their problems, ensuring that solutions are tailored to their specific needs

• Monitor the performance of models, and find areas of improvements

• Follow best practices in data science, and machine learning to ensure high-quality, sustainable, and efficient solutions

• Develop and fine-tune machine learning models to address and resolve specific business requirements, focusing on both accuracy and practical applicability

• Utilizing cutting-edge technology to drive business innovation and efficiency

• Stay updated with the latest developments in AI and data science to continuously seek to apply new techniques and methodologies to improve existing processes

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar fields

• Solid hands-on experience in Data Science and Machine learning

• Familiarity with recommendation systems and prescriptive analytics

• Proficiency with Python, SQL and Machine learning libraries and framework

• Experience in the development of Machine learning Models and applying statistical methods

• Experience building solutions using container and orchestration technologies

• Data-driven, innovative, and highly efficient in problem-solving and execution

• Excellent communicator and very good level of English are required

• Nice to have:

  • Experience with Snowflake is highly valuable

  • Experience with Generative AI and large language models is a plus

  • Knowledge of AWS cloud or any other cloud technology

  • Knowledge of NLP models including transformers

  • Familiarity with Big data technologies such as PySpark

  • Experience with any Python API framework (FastAPI, Flask, Django, …)
