Job Description

We’re on a mission to protect society from fraud and money laundering. We’ve already protected over 1 million people through life’s big transactions, with a core aim to protect 3 million people by the end of 2024.
Fraud and regulation are rising, costing the UK economy over £100bn every year; this makes it more difficult for businesses to protect themselves and their clients - individuals like you and me - from fraud and money laundering.
Our co-founders Olly and Jack were led to this area when a friend was defrauded of £25K when buying their first property. At the time, anti-fraud technology didn’t exist, which meant that completing the anti-fraud checks required in these processes was largely manual. These big life moments should be exciting, but instead are often confusing and scary due to the painful process of completing these paper-based checks and the risk of fraud.
Thirdfort helps businesses to facilitate these anti fraud checks so that individuals know they can transact safely and seamlessly with professionals during these big transactions. Our anti-fraud platform provides a secure way for professionals in regulated sectors like Lawyers, Estate Agents and Accountants to transfer funds and verify sensitive information through app based document checks, facial recognition and open banking.
Over 1000 businesses now trust Thirdfort to verify their clients. We are FCA regulated and have raised over $25m in capital from leading Fintech investors Breega and Element Ventures, as well as the founders of Zoopla, Funding Circle, Comply Advantage, Tessian, Fenergo and Fidel.
The Role
It's an extremely exciting time to join the Thirdfort Product team as we move into the next stage of growth across our technology teams.
This dynamic role will report to the Senior Product Manager and will work closely with an Engineering Manager to lead a multi disciplined product team in defining and delivering an outcome based roadmap, that adds value to our users and business. We're looking for someone to:

  • Retrieve and analyse feedback from customers٫ stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements٫ features and products
  • Share the accountability with our engineering managers for your product remit and together define and negotiate a roadmap that helps us achieve our mission
  • Ensure that we achieve a predictable delivery velocity
  • Collaborate with technology teams to help define and shape our ways of working and effective communication with the business
  • Balance the needs of our clients and internal stakeholders with the goals of our business, taking into consideration our technology stack
  • Build and implement a product strategy consistent with Thirdfort’s vision and short term goals
  • Ensure the product is aligned with wider product teams missions and roadmaps and be able to navigate inter-team engineering dependancies with other product areas (Integrations, Portal & Consumer)
  • Work closely with product marketing to organise product releases and go-to-market strategy
  • Ensure we are monitoring and moving the right KPIs

You might be right for this role if you:

  • Have 3+ years of experience working with product management methodologies such as design thinking, discovery and user research, data analysis, and prioritisation
  • Have a strong product mindset and ability to make data led decisions
  • Have a track record of success in defining and launching products that make a difference for your users
  • Effective at managing the trade-offs between short-term requirements and longer-term vision
  • Are a team player, who is proactive and engaged and has the willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
  • Have a deep understanding of product development processes in cross-functional teams
  • Thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment, where you feel your work is challenging and makes a difference
  • Are a skilled communicator and comfortable presenting to all levels of the organisation, including both internal and external stakeholders
  • Are comfortable with different tooling: Jira, Notion, Slack, Google Docs, and Miro
  • Previous experience with AML/KYC or working in a highly regulated environment desirable but not essential
