Job Description
Despite mountains of supposed anti-fraud paperwork, a friend of founders Olly and Jack still got defrauded out of £25k when trying to buy a property in 2017.
This personal experience led them to discover that a torrent of money laundering and payment fraud (over £100bn every year) was hurting professional services across Legal, Property and Finance. Back in 2017, anti-fraud tech didn’t exist and both professionals and their clients were suffering enormously.
Olly and Jack quit their jobs to build the first platform that would bring together digital KYC, open banking-powered AML and secure payments. First of its kind, this all-in-one platform enables professionals and their clients to transact safely and seamlessly. We want to help people move fearlessly.
Starting at the intersection of property and legal (Property Lawyers), we have since expanded into full service Legal, Property and Financial Services are coming next.
Over 850 businesses now trust Thirdfort to provide beautifully secure experiences. The Thirdfort mobile app is downloaded by their clients over 50,000 times every month.
We’ve raised over $25m from VCs Breega and Element Ventures with the founders of Zoopla, ComplyAdvantage, Tessian, Fidel and Funding Circle giving their personal backing.

It's an extremely exciting time to join the Thirdfort Product team as we move into the next stage of growth across our technology teams. As Thirdfort's Head of Product, your mission will be to build product capabilities that drive Thirdfort’s commercial success and delights our customers.
In this role you will:
- Lead transformation towards evidence based and experiment driven culture
- Own and build product strategy, aligning it with the company mission and goals
- Be accountable for identification, prioritisation and delivery of product capabilities that bring value to the business such as revenue and/or usage
- Constantly evaluate industry trends, customer needs and competitor landscape
- Stay in direct contact with our customers
- Evaluate and evolve Product organisational design and processes
- Create scalable and repeatable processes
- Develop clear roles expectations for the team members (Product managers and Designers)
- Lead distributed team (across UK)
- Effectively manage changes across different parts of the organisation
- Develop a set of metrics that measure the success of the Product organisation
- Influence diverse stakeholder groups effectively
- Bridge messaging between the leadership team and the Product team
- Lead initiatives that affect wider organisation
- Own team culture and morale
- Build (manage, develop, mentor, coach) a high performance team of PMs and Designers
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in Product leadership and ideally Design leadership
- Has a proved delivery track of product capabilities/features that brought value to the business such as revenue and/or usage
- Has an evidence and data based approach, and enjoys an experiment driven culture
- Thrives working in a fast paced, Startup/Scaleup environment
- Has experience working in similar industries and in building SaaS platforms
- Loves building relationships and is comfortable managing various stakeholders
- Is passionate about building (hiring, performance management) a high impact Product team
- Change management
- Has an obsession with Customer feedback
