Diversity and Culture at Ben

(...because it doesn't belong at the bottom of an ad!)

Our culture is ever-evolving and is defined by our people. We don’t hire clones, we hire individuals.

  • We celebrate diversity

  • We listen to our people

  • We work autonomously

    and...

  • We have fun!

We are organically growing a brilliantly diverse, inclusive and respectful bunch of people we are extremely proud of. This should go without saying but all applications are very much welcome. If you need any adjustments to support you with your application, just let us know by emailing jobs@thanksben.com.

Our Mission

The way companies reward their people today is broken - it's a rigid, one-size-fits-all approach that hasn't evolved to meet the demands of the modern workforce. How we work is changing, but compensation - salary, bonus, equity, benefits - has been stuck in the same place for decades. Ben is changing that, starting with employee benefits. Our mission is to make benefits and pay work for everyone, everywhere.

We have been featured in TechCrunch and Financial Times (to name a few) and we're super proud to be backed by some of Europe's leading VC funds including Atomico, Seedcamp, Cherry, and DN Capital and the people behind companies such as Indeed.com, Peakon, Personio, Wise, Workday, and GoCardless.

Your Mission

As our Content Marketing Executive, you’ll be supporting the end-to-end content process including the research, ideation, production and distribution of content across a wide scope of formats and channels. You’ll be writing compelling short and long-form copy with SEO best practices in mind. From time to time, you’ll be supporting the planning, organising and management of various offline and online events including meet-ups for our community, webinars or trade show appearances. Our ambition is to become a thought leader in our industry – and relevant high-quality and educational content is fundamental to achieving it.

We’re looking for a passionate copywriter and content creator who is seeking a fast-paced environment where they can make a difference. Our team is small, which means high autonomy, ownership, and responsibility. We love what we do, have fun and, while we ship on time, take life-work balance seriously.

Things you will be working on…

  • Supporting the end-to-end content process including the research, ideation, production and distribution of content across various formats including blogs, video, social media posting, podcasts, and email newsletters among others

  • Writing compelling short-form and long-form copy to build brand awareness and generate demand for our solutions across different formats and channels

  • Conduct keyword research and content audits to ensure all content is SEO optimised and incorporates current best practices

  • Work with various stakeholders across the business to support the planning, organising and management of offline and online events (trade shows, webinars, meet-ups)

You will love this role if you have…

  • You have a genuine love for writing and content production and pay great attention to detail

  • You have a portfolio that showcases your excellent copywriting skills, and proven ability to write original, educational and engaging copy on a range of topics across a variety of different formats and channels

  • A working knowledge of basic SEO practices and analytics to consistently improve our copy

  • Working knowledge of the various marketing channels incl. Paid Search & Social, Organic Search & Social, Email etc.

  • Experience working with Webflow, Hubspot, Ahrefs, BuzzSumo, Google Analytics or similar tools

and you...

  • are a self-starter who thrives on autonomy, enjoys a rapid pace and wants to make a difference

  • have a continuous improvement mindset. You appreciate that there are always ways to do things better and ensure your team does too

  • have a preference for action-oriented behaviour with just enough analysis, as compared to too much time spent doing analysis with no action
