Job Description
At Tesco and Booker, we’re building digital experiences that make things easier for every customer—and everyone’s welcome to be part of that journey. If you’re passionate about crafting intuitive online shopping experiences and influencing product strategy at scale, this role could be a great fit for you.
As a Product Manager within Booker Technology, you will be a key member of the Online Shopping team, helping to shape the product roadmap and deliver world‑class digital customer experiences across both web and mobile app channels.
You’ll help develop secure, scalable, user‑centred digital solutions that boost customer satisfaction and support Booker’s ambitious growth plans.
Booker.co.uk is the fastest‑growing online wholesale platform in the UK—currently generating £3.5bn annually, with projections to exceed £4bn within the next two years. The website and app attract around 3 million users, a number rising steadily as demand increases. This role directly contributes to improving and expanding that digital journey.
Vision
Our ambition is to deliver an effortless, fast and engaging shopping experience for every Booker customer—whether they're browsing on desktop, mobile web, or the Booker app.
As Product Manager, you’ll help bring that vision to life by shaping online experiences that are functional, reliable, and inspiring.
- Help evolve and drive the product vision, strategy, and long‑term roadmap for Booker’s websites and mobile apps, in partnership with the Lead Product Manager.
- Prioritise work effectively and make clear trade‑off decisions with peers and senior leaders.
- Build a deep understanding of key user personas, customers, and stakeholders, delivering solutions that meet their needs and create measurable value.
- Use customer insights, behavioural data, and market trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Define desired outcomes, set success measures, and ensure teams learn from product performance and user behaviour.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams—including Business Analysts, Engineering, UX/UI Design and Research—to maintain alignment throughout product development.
- Experience managing front‑end digital products such as websites and mobile apps.
- Strong relationship‑building skills with peers, stakeholders, and cross‑functional partners.
- Understanding of agile methodologies and how to apply them to deliver great digital products.
- Experience managing products through different stages of the product lifecycle.
- A data‑informed mindset, with the ability to balance customer needs, commercial impact, and technical considerations.
- Familiarity with user research practices, A/B testing, and design thinking approaches.
- Experience in online shopping or e‑commerce (desirable but not essential).
If you’re excited by the opportunity to influence a fast‑growing digital platform, champion customer‑centric design, and work in an inclusive and collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you.
