As a Data Co‑ordinator, you’ll play a key part in designing, building, and maintaining the data solutions that power our decision‑making. You’ll work with cloud-based tools and modern data platforms to create scalable pipelines and keep our data flowing smoothly. Your work will help colleagues across Booker and the wider Tesco Group access the information they need to better serve our customers.
- Design, develop, and maintain data processing systems and databases
- Build and support large‑scale ETL pipelines that are reliable and efficient
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability across all platforms
- Assemble and optimise large datasets to meet business and technical needs
- Improve internal processes by enhancing scalability and automating workflows
- Develop analytical tools, dashboards, and datasets that support business insights
- Work collaboratively with data scientists, analysts, and cross‑functional teams
- Provide technical support and guidance on data‑related issues to product, design, and leadership teams
- At least 2 years’ experience with technologies such as Azure Functions, Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, and Python
- A strong understanding of Data Lake architecture, including data governance and best practice
- Experience working within Azure / Databricks / Spark / Tableau environments
- Good working knowledge of SQL, Python, and data warehousing solutions
- A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well with people from different teams and backgrounds
