As a member of this team and someone who�s dedicated to great service, you�ll make sure every dish lives up to the promise of our menu, all while keeping our kitchen clean and tidy as you go. It�s an essential and varied role, where your work helps to make every day a little better.

Whilst specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the changing needs of Tesco as a business, the following provides an overview of the role�s key responsibilities and measures:

• Keeping kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serving customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Following food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.
• Practising first in, first out (FIFO) stock rotation to keep our food fresh.
• Accepting deliveries and handling the safe storage of food.
• Being aware of (and following) all operational policies and procedures.
• Preparing, cooking, and serving food according to our caf�s
• Making sure we maintain our standards and all food products are available.
• Knowing our caf�s menu inside and out and serving food exactly as it�s intended.
• Resolving customer complaints and passing on information to the Caf� Manager.
• Staying up to date with business communications and exciting new initiatives.��

• A commitment to excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety standards.�
• The ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean environment.
