Job Title: Key Account Director

Reports to: Head of Sales

Location: Bristol / Hybrid working

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus commission

This is an exciting opportunity to join our AccountingWEB portfolio that includes AccountingWEB.co.uk, the Accounting Excellence Awards, our annual exhibition, AccountingWEB Live EXPO, and our AccountingWEB Insights market intelligence programme. Our channels are an invaluable support to vendors looking to build brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation with their target customers across the accounting profession.

Reporting​ ​into​ ​the​ ​Head of Sales,​ ​the​ Key Account Director​ ​will be​ ​responsible​ ​for revenue retention, and driving revenues through upsell / cross-sales from AccountingWEBs (20) Tier 1 customers.

What we’d like from you

  • Clear sales experience (ideally within publishing sales)
  • A proven track record in driving sales, exceeding targets and growing customer spend
  • Experience working with technology or financial services companies, particularly in delivering media, event, and market intelligence propositions is desirable.
  • Experience of creatively​ ​using​ ​sponsorship​ ​assets​ ​to​ ​build​ ​and​ ​demonstrate​ ​innovative​ ​marketing programmes​ ​that​ ​will​ ​add​ ​genuine​ ​value​ ​to​ ​our​ ​clients​.

Additional desirable qualities, skills and experience

  • Experience selling across the media landscape including digital, events and insight
  • Experience within financial services and accounting markets
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously and follow your own initiative.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Available to travel to client meetings and events across UK
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to forge relationships quickly.
