The Role
As a Senior UX Designer at ScreenCloud, you will play a key role in the design and development of a next-generation CMS for digital signage, helping users manage large volumes of content quickly and intuitively. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to ensure that our CMS delivers a seamless and engaging experience to our customers.
Your work will focus on creating intuitive user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, as well as writing and refining UX copy and microcopy to enhance usability and guide users through the CMS efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX Design: This is a rare chance to steer a greenfield view of an entirely new UX. As we build out this new app, your role will be to design experiences worthy of the most delightful webapps you use each day, and work with teams across the business to ensure the UX guidelines are understood and the bar is permanently held high
• UX Copy & Microcopy: Craft clear, concise, and user-friendly UX copy to guide users throughout the CMS interface, ensuring that language supports usability and provides clarity
• Prototyping & Wireframing: Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes to communicate design ideas and gather feedback from stakeholders
• User Research & Testing: Conduct user interviews, usability tests, and workshops to understand customer pain points and validate design solutions
• Produce final high-fidelity designs for the engineering teams to implement
• Design System Contribution: Contribute to ScreenCloud’s design system, ensuring consistency across all touch points within the CMS
• Customer-Driven Design: Take input from a range of sources, including analytics & metrics, user feedback, and behavioural insights to inform and iterate on design decisions
• Work within Cross-Functional Teams: We work as a single Product & Engineering team, where Design, Product, Dev & QA all collaborate at the same whiteboards and own projects from start to finish. We believe this is the only way to make the best products

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience working in a UX or Product Design role with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects
• Proficiency using design tools such as Figma and the Adobe suite
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about user interactions and user journeys
• Fluent written and spoken English skills, with the ability to present and explain design decisions to stakeholders and team members
• Experience working cross functionally with engineers, product managers and marketers
• Strong understanding of UX principles, user-centred design, and accessibility standards

Bonus Skills

• Previous experience working in B2B SaaS
• Previous experience working with Enterprise businesses
• Experience with cutting edge web technologies for more interactive and animated experiences.
