Job Description

We help the world run better

At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

What you´ll build

  • Join our central team based in Walldorf (hybrid team setting) and closely collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization
  • Support strategic transformation and AI initiatives across SAP, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Drive data analysis, research, and insights to identify opportunities, inform decisions, and improve business processes
  • Evaluate and prioritise AI and automation use cases, assessing business value, feasibility, and potential impact
  • Contribute to AI-enabled product and solution development, and hands-on AI workflow automation
  • Create management-ready reporting, presentations, and dashboards using tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, and Excel
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, and project follow-ups, translating business needs into structured actions and deliverables

As a student your working hours will be flexible with a maximum of 20 hours per week during the semester and up to 40 hours per week during the semester break.

What you bring

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study: Business informatics / psychology / business administration or a related field (your motivation is far more important than your field of study!)
  • Good analytical and data skills, with experience working with KPI reporting, dashboards, and data-driven insights
  • Familiarity with Generative AI and automation, including AI tools, Claude AI, AI assistants, and workflow automation
  • Language skills: Fluent in English, German is a plus
  • Soft skills: Creative and curious, can-do attitude, reliable, team-oriented, ability to drive topics independently and open-mindedly, analytical
  • Others: First work experience gained (internship or working student position). Experience with transformation/change management and/or AI topics is a plus. Skills in empirical research, data analysis or statistics are a plus

Where you belong

"We accelerate the transformation of how our development units think, build and operate — so that everyone in our organization is empowered to deliver the world's most intelligent, AI-native ERP solution." — mission of our team.

The Autonomous Suite Transformation Office is a highly motivated and forward-looking team at the center of one of the most significant shifts in SAP's history. Announced as the most important evolution of SAP's application portfolio, the SAP Autonomous Suite redefines how enterprise business processes run — with AI agents and Joule Assistants executing end-to-end workflows across Finance, Spend Management, Supply Chain, Human Capital Management, and Customer Experience, autonomously and at scale.

Our team drives the strategic, cultural, and operational transformation needed to make this vision real. We sit right at the heart of SAP, bridging the gap between bold AI ambitions and everyday execution — ensuring our development units don't just build the Autonomous Enterprise, but truly embrace the mindset and ways of working it demands.

The team is now looking for 1 working student to help drive and support transformational projects on this journey.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.

This is a SAP global, strategic, paid working student position that provides students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers.
