What you'll build


As a Visual Design Working Student, you'll be responsible for creating visually engaging communication materials and multimedia content that align with SAP's brand strategy and signal SAP’s design eminence. The ideal candidate should be versatile, as the role involves a mix of static graphic design, user interface design, and light motion design. Your tasks will encompass a variety of projects, including:

  • Working within the framework of visual brand guidelines to create unique and engaging visual and short-form video content to enhance storytelling
  • Assisting in the creation of visual designs and graphics for web platforms and socials
  • Collaborating with UX designers and communication experts to transform complex ideas into clear visuals
  • Be able to proactively pitch your own ideas and drive your own projects

What you bring


We are searching for a proactive and strategically-minded designer who is eager to explore and curious about the world of enterprise design. The ideal candidate will be creative but methodical and have the discipline to work independently. Here’s what you should bring to the table:

  • Be currently studying at an undergraduate or postgraduate level in Communications Design, Marketing, Graphic Design, Visual Design, Motion Graphics, or a related field
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
  • Must have a thorough understanding of design principles including composition, visual hierarchy, color, and balance
  • Have a hands-on attitude and be proactive with communicating
  • Manage and prioritize multiple design projects and fast deadlines
  • Previous experience working with Adobe XD/Creative Suite, Figma, InVision or other UI tools
  • Knowledge of After Effects and or Premier Pro is a plus, experience with transitions, compositing skills, animation, motion design and or dynamic interaction is also a plus
  • Living near Walldorf and coming to the office 1-2 times per week
