What you'll build

We are looking for a Video Design & Storytelling Support Working Student (f/m/d) to support our Design team in creating compelling demo videos and event presentations.

This role combines strong storytelling skills with visual communication thinking, with a focus on developing clear narratives and structured scripts. You will collaborate closely with Designers and Product Managers to translate project input into concise, well-structured stories that serve as the foundation for high-quality demo videos.

As the Video Design & Storytelling Support Working student at the SAP Research & Innovation Team you will:

• Support the creation of video scripts and storytelling concepts for internal events
• Draft and refine video scripts that serve as the foundation for visual production
• Collaborate with Designers to align script structure with visual storytelling and pacing
• Align with PMs to ensure accuracy of content and messaging
• Consolidate stakeholder feedback into clear script updates
• Maintain organized documentation of script versions and revisions

What you bring

• Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences Preferred fields of study: In visual design or communication field (e.g., Digital Design, Interaction Design, Product Design, Information Design, Communication Design, Media Design, Marketing Design
• Strong interest and experience in video creation, visual communication, and storytelling
• Excellent writing and narrative structuring skills in English
• Ability to simplify complex topics into clear messages
• Comfortable collaborating across different roles (Design, Product, Stakeholders) § Interest in using AI tools to support content creation
• Structured and detail-oriented working style
• Ability to design and implement working prototypes based on interaction and information design specifications
• Knowledge of design tools like Figma, Adobe PR and others
• Excellent understanding of fundamental design principles and human interaction principles
• Fast learning curve and ability to quickly understand technical topics
• Knowledge of SAP and best practice visual design, corporate visual identity, and branding standards
• Working from the office is not required
