What you'll do

We are looking for a motivated Working Student to strengthen our QA team. In this role, you will support both manual and automated testing activities, helping ensure the quality of our software. You will gain hands-on experience in structured testing processes, automation scripting, and enterprise-grade software delivery — while contributing directly to the reliability of solutions used across the business.

Your future tasks include, but may not be limited to:

• Manual Testing: Execute test cases, document results, and help identify issues in the development.
• Automation: Support the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts using Playwright & Selenium.
• Test Design: Assist in defining test cases and scenarios based on functional requirements and development specifications.
• Bug Tracking: Document and track defects in collaboration with QA colleagues and developers.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the QA team and developers to validate fixes and improve testing coverage.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas to refine test processes and increase the efficiency of QA workflows.

What you bring

• Education: You are currently enrolled in a university program in computer science, business informatics, software engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Interest: Curiosity about software testing, quality assurance, and automation frameworks.
• Programming Basics: Initial experience with a scripting or programming language (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python preferred).
• Analytical Skills: A structured and detail-oriented approach to identifying, documenting, and reproducing issues.
• Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with QA engineers and developers. Fluent English language in written and verbal communication.
• Learning Mindset: Motivation to expand your skills in test automation (Playwright) and enterprise applications like SAP CPQ.

Where you belong

Your future team – Public Cloud Runway – is responsible for the End-to-End solution delivery supporting SAP’s core Sales and Deal execution business processes, closely interacting with SAP’s Sales Business. We act as the business’ trusted advisor and expert, driving together the simplification and evolution of our business processes – always keeping the end user in mind.
As a global team we work in an agile operating model to ensure efficient organization and delivery into 10+ different system landscapes.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
