What you'll build

Your impact as a working student (f/m/d) in Product Development, you help turn ideas into features that people rely on in their daily work. Your code improves stability, usability, and performance. You make it easier for users to complete tasks efficiently and with fewer disruptions.

What you will do:

  • Build and enhance features using JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Work closely with Product Management to understand real user needs and translate them into clean, maintainable code
  • Test and refine your changes to ensure reliable releases
  • Contribute to performance and monitoring improvements where needed
  • Support AI use cases by testing and evaluating new feature ideas
  • Use AI tools in your daily development work to increase productivity and code quality

How we work

We develop in short, focused iterations. You receive feedback early and see the impact of your work quickly. You collaborate with experienced developers and learn by doing. You work on real production software from day one. You strengthen your technical skills, understand how product decisions are made, and learn how modern development teams deliver value step by step.

What you bring

  • Enrolled student (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Solid knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Experience with Node.js or comparable backend technologies
  • Understanding of basic software development principles and version control (e.g. Git)
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Working from the office in Dresden is required

You are structured and reliable in the way you work. You enjoy collaborating with others and asking questions to fully understand requirements. First experience with agile development is a plus. Exposure to monitoring tools or interest in AI use cases and AI-supported development is welcome but not required.

Our team builds and maintains advanced planning capabilities within SAP Analytics Cloud. Our mission is to provide reliable and scalable solutions that help organizations plan, budget, and forecast with confidence. We focus on stability, performance, and long-term maintainability so customers can depend on the system in critical business situations.

Based in Dresden, we design, implement, and improve planning features used by enterprise customers worldwide. Our daily work includes software development, reviewing and refining requirements, fixing incidents, and optimizing performance. We also ensure that new features integrate smoothly into the existing architecture and meet high quality standards.

By continuously improving reliability and scalability, we help customers run their planning processes efficiently and reduce operational risks.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
