Job Description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

The Ports & Trucking industries sit at the heart of global trade — and SAP is at the center of how these industries run. As a Working Student in our Ports & Trucking Go-To-Market (GTM) team, you will work alongside a global industry team to create the content, analytics, and programs that help customers and prospects understand the value SAP delivers in their industry. This isn't a back-office role: the materials you build will be used by sales teams worldwide to engage with port operators and trucking companies. You will gain deep knowledge of logistics industry processes, SAP's solution portfolio, and how enterprise software creates business value at scale.

What you'll build

  • Work directly with the global Ports and Trucking lead to create and coordinate go-to-market content and initiatives for the Ports & Trucking industries
  • Become a key contributor in the creation of industry content for Ports and Trucking, including value propositions and customer-facing materials
  • Support business development for SAP partner solutions that extend the SAP portfolio into Ports & Trucking vertical processes
  • Develop and maintain regular reporting and analytics on Ports & Trucking customer adoption, pipeline, and references
  • Support the planning and execution of go-to-market programs with sell partners, including marketing activities, customer and prospect targeting, and engagement tracking
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of industry events and campaigns
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders across regions and market units, encouraging participation in GTM initiatives

What you bring

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences — multi-year working student engagement required
  • Studies: Preferred fields of study: Business Administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline
  • Computer skills: Strong analytical capabilities; familiarity with cloud technologies, AI, and ERP concepts; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Language skills: Fluent in English (written and verbal); German is a plus
  • Soft skills: Detail-oriented, self-motivated, creative and critical thinker — energized by learning in a fast-paced environment
  • Other: Ability to grasp complex topics quickly and a passion for making a real difference; prior work or internship experience is a plus
  • Working from the Walldorf office is required on a regular basis.

Where you belong

We are a global industry team covering Professional Services, Construction, Travel & Transportation, and Logistics. Our key responsibility is providing high-quality Go-To-Market content that helps SAP field teams demonstrate the company's value to customers in our industries. You will join a diverse, collaborative team with global reach — working on initiatives that directly contribute to SAP's revenue goals while shaping the narrative of how the world's largest enterprise software company serves two of the world's most critical logistics industries.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.

This is a SAP global, strategic, paid working student position that provides students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers.
