What you'll build

You will support our Chief Architect of Extensibility for CX Applications. In this role, you will help shape the future of our extensibility strategy by contributing to proof-of-concepts (POCs), early-stage concept development, and architectural exploration for next-generation customer experience products.

What you bring

• Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
• Strong interest in software architecture, platform extensibility, and cloud-native applications
• Understanding of data science concepts and awareness of predictive AI technologies
• Experience with one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) or container technologies is a plus
• Understanding of APIs, event driven architecture, and integration patterns is beneficial
• Curious, proactive, and comfortable working in exploratory environments
• Good communication skills and ability to clearly document technical work in English
• Other important skills/experience: Understanding of data, research and usage of GenAI tools, marketing and customer experience, Enterprise Architecture

Where you belong

You will work directly for the CTO of CX. The CTO and the team are responsible for Cross Architecture, Reference Business Architecture, and AI across the entire Customer Experience organization, which includes several thousand employees. This involves coordinating company-wide initiatives as well as representing the organization to customers. The goal is to develop the best AI Suite—fully integrated with SAP’s backend processes—covering Commerce, Loyalty, Marketing, Sales, and Service Cloud.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
