What you'll build


As a working student in Communications, you will help shape how people experience and engage with SAP Labs Dresden. You will work closely with colleagues across different teams to turn complex topics into clear, engaging stories and communication formats. Your work will help employees stay informed, connected, and inspired, while also strengthening SAP Labs Dresden's visibility within the broader technology ecosystem.


You will contribute to communication activities across internal and external channels, support campaigns and events, and help identify new ways to engage our audiences. From creating content to collaborating with stakeholders, you will gain hands-on experience and take ownership of meaningful projects from day one.


By helping people connect, collaborate, and share knowledge, you will contribute to an environment where innovation can thrive. Your work will help strengthen communities, promote transparency, and showcase the people and ideas that drive positive impact at SAP.

Working hours: 20 hours per week
Duration: 6 months with the option to extend

What you bring

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study: Media, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • Computer skills / Programming languages: Profound knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, SharePoint, Power Point, Teams, and Excel) is a must-have. Knowledge and skills on graphic design is helpful
  • Language skills: Excellent command of the German and English language is a prerequisite (written and verbal)
  • Soft skills: Strong business communication skills, flexibility, and willingness to learn and explore new things, independent working style, reliability and working on schedule
  • Other important skills/experience: Strong organizational, collaboration, and analytical skills
  • Working from Dresden office is required

To connect with our audiences, we use a variety of digital channels and communities, including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, SAP Community, social media, event formats and AI-powered communication tools.


Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
