Working Student (f/m/d) - Business Operations & Communications - Finance & Spend Management MEE
Job Description
We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
What you'll build
Do you combine a hands-on technical mindset with a talent for clear, compelling communication? If you are the kind of person who takes ownership, builds things from scratch, and knows exactly how to make a message land on a PowerPoint slide — this role is built for you.
As a working student (f/m/d) embedded in the Office of the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) for Finance & Spend Management MEE, you will work at the heart of SAP's go-to-market organization — supporting a senior leadership team that drives strategy and business performance across Middle and Eastern Europe. Your contributions will be visible, fast-paced, and impactful.
- Building and maintaining digital enablement assets — from the F&S MEE onboarding page and microsites to surveys and content platforms — taking full ownership from concept to completion
- Creating high-impact PowerPoint presentations that go beyond visual design: Structuring the narrative, knowing what topics to prioritize, and ensuring the right message stands out on every slide
- Supporting the team with content management, internal communications, and cross-team enablement initiatives
- Supporting business reviews, executive briefings, and cross-team alignment sessions with well-structured presentation materials and clear follow-up documentation
- Coordinating and following up on cross-functional programs, initiatives, and operational processes
- Contributing to the development and rollout of best practices and process improvements across the team
- Curating and updating existing enablement content — ensuring materials stay current, consistent, and easy to navigate
- Providing administrative and organizational support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the CRO office
- Assistance at customer or partner meetings and workshops
This is your chance to join a leading B2B software company at the forefront of digital transformation. You will gain direct exposure to enterprise strategy, cloud solutions, and senior leadership decision-making — while building a skill set that is relevant across any future career path you choose.
What you bring
- A proactive, can-do attitude: You take ownership, stay solution-focused, and drive things forward even when the path is not clearly defined — this is the mindset we value most
- Advanced PowerPoint skills that go beyond visual design — you know how to structure a message, identify what to prioritize, and make exactly the right things stand out on each slide
- A technical, hands-on mindset and genuine interest in building digital tools and content — comfortable exploring new platforms and willing to drive smaller projects from scratch (e.g., SharePoint pages, onboarding experiences, survey forms)
- Currently enrolled as a student (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences, with at least 12 months of study remaining
- Preferred fields of study: Business Administration, Management, Business Informatics, Media & Communications, or similar
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 — especially PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and solid Excel skills
- Language skills: Excellent verbal and written English; German B1 or above preferred
- Strong communication skills — you can structure complex topics clearly and present them in a way that resonates with different audiences
- Familiarity with SAP products or enterprise software is a plus
- Working from Walldorf office 1–2x per week is required; 20 hours per week
Where you belong
The Finance & Spend Management (F&S) Office of the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is a central strategic unit within SAP's go-to-market organization. The office drives and coordinates key initiatives across the F&S MEE (Middle and Eastern Europe) field organization, supporting the CRO and senior leadership in shaping and executing the regional business strategy.
The team sits at the intersection of sales, customer success, and business operations — acting as a hub for cross-functional alignment, executive reporting, operational excellence, and strategic program management. It works closely with Sales Executives, Solution Advisors, Customer Success Managers and Partner teams across the MEE region to ensure consistent execution of SAP's Finance & Spend Management portfolio, which includes solutions such as SAP S/4HANA (Public), SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass, SAP Concur, and SAP Business Network.
As a working student (f/m/d) in this office, you will be embedded directly in the CRO leadership environment, gaining exposure to high-impact business decisions, regional strategy, and SAP's broader cloud transformation journey.
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
This is a SAP global, strategic, paid working student position that provides students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers.
