Job Description

What you'll bring

You're a student curious about how technology shapes customer success for our customers in discrete manufacturing industries. You want to understand what makes enterprise relationships work — and contribute from day one.

  • Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Copilot, Claude Code, ChatGPT, or similar — and a genuine interest in automation and process optimisation
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects in parallel and follow through on commitments
  • Clear, structured communication — in documentation and when sharing knowledge with the team
  • A customer-centric mindset and an understanding of what makes Customer Success Managers effective in their work
  • Curiosity about discrete manufacturing industries and how enterprise technology creates value for customers
  • Fluency in German and English is required for this role

We also look for people who communicate clearly, keep the customer in mind, and enjoy finding smart solutions to problems — whatever stage of your career you're at. This role requires partial office presence in Eschborn or Walldorf.

What you'll build

You'll take on real ownership across tools, processes, and team culture — contributing directly to how SAP's manufacturing customers experience success.

  • Leverage AI tools suche as SAP Joule Work Desktop, SAP CX AI Toolkit and others in any part of your daily business
  • Support the implementation and upkeep of SAP Sales Cloud V2 and AI tools such as Claude and the SAP CX AI Toolkit
  • Maintain and improve CEEBRAi — the team's AI-powered CSM handbook built on SAP Joule Work Desktop
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities that reduce manual overhead across team workflows
  • Support data quality improvements using AI-enabled tools
  • Contribute to regular reporting and business reviews, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery to senior management
  • Design and run rewards challenges for Customer Success Managers to drive engagement and team performance

Where you belong

The CX CS&R for Discrete Manufacturing Industries team works where technology meets customer outcomes. You'll join a team focused on helping SAP's manufacturing customers get real value from their investment. When you join SAP, you'll be a part of SAP Next Gen — a global community of students and early professionals with access to mentors, development programmes, and peers.
