About SAP STAR Program

Global Student Training and Rotation (STAR) Program offers university students hands-on industry experience at SAP, the world’s leading software provider. As part of a global program across 14 countries, STAR students work on real business projects and develop professional skills. Unlike most internships, this program allows students to continue their studies at university without taking a break or needing to graduate first. Upon graduation, you will have opportunities to apply for open positions within SAP and potentially become a valued member of our team.

Education and Qualifications

Open to undergraduate and graduate students who meet the following requirements and process the core competencies listed below.

<Education>

  • Bachelor’s/Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Business, International Logistics, or related disciplines

  • Will be graduated in Feb. 2025, Aug. 2025, or Feb. 2026 (Madatory)

<Qualifications and Skills>

  • Strong problem‑solving skills, logical thinking, growth mindset, and a proactive “make‑it‑happen” attitude

  • Self‑directed learner with the ability to enhance stakeholder focus, intercultural sensitivity, business acumen, and delivery orientation throughout the program

  • Adaptable, resilient, resourceful, and able to work on complex challenges with effective communication and team collaboration skills

  • Demonstrated interest in developing a career in the tech industry and in SAP

  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (Mandatory)

  • Prior internship experience in the IT industry, SAP product knowledge, or experience within the SAP ecosystem is a plus

Role Overview: Services Sales

The program includes a rotation system that allows you to participate in up to three different projects or teams within the organization. Your first rotation will be in the Services Sales.

SAP Services provides a wide range of service offerings designed to help customers successfully adopt, consume, and expand their use of SAP cloud solutions, in alignment with SAP’s Cloud First and AI First strategy. Through close collaboration with customers and partners, the team ensures that organizations can maximize the value of their SAP investments and accelerate their digital transformation.

The SAP Services Sales team plays a key role in driving the market expansion of these service offerings. The team leads endtoend sales activities, including customer identification, demand generation, service proposal development, and ongoing account management, ultimately contributing to the successful delivery and growth of SAP Services in the market.

The STAR student for Services Sales plays a key supporting role by assisting Services Account Executives (SAEs) in their sales activities. This role contributes across three core areas such as, Demand Generation, Account Management, and Sales Operations, by supporting sales opportunity identification, preparing materials for customer proposals, and assisting with sales operational tasks. Through these tasks and activities, this role can expect to gain experience and knowledge of the endtoend sales cycle and contribute to the overall performance of the SAP Services Sales organization.

  1. Demand generation support

  1. Understand SAP Services and customers and conduct structured research on assigned customer accounts to identify potential service sales opportunities.

  1. Prepare materials required for demand generation activities, including target account lists, customer insights, and value‑based messaging.

  1. Support the preparation and execution of customer‑facing events (e.g., webinars, seminars) designed to increase market awareness of SAP Services.

  1. Monitor pipeline visibility by tracking demand information and continuously following the progression of qualified demand to actual deal conversion.

  1. Account management and deal support

  1. Prepare agendas, meeting materials, and meeting notes for both internal and customer meetings

  1. Update account/deal information, contact information, opportunity stages and status to support the accuracy and integrity of CRM data for SAEs

  1. Contribute to the development of Account Plans, QBR (Quarterly Business Review) materials, and internal account summary documents.

  1. Provide interpretation and translation support to facilitate effective communication during customer meetings.

  1. Sales operation and reporting

  1. Analyze pipeline status and sales forecasting data to support reporting activities.

  1. Prepare dashboards and status‑update materials for weekly sales meetings and demand‑generation management.

Program & Work Details

  • 18-month structured program with learning, mentorship, and rotations

  • Employment Type: Fixed-term Intern 18 months

  • Probation Period: 3 months from the date of hire (extendable if necessary)

  • The detailed working conditions will be subject to the employment agreement

  • Full-time (40 hrs/week) during breaks; part-time (20 hrs/week) or full-time during semesters

  • Flexible hours aligned with academic schedules

  • Eligible to apply for full-time roles after 9 months and graduation

  • Supports university field practicum / academic credit programs (대학 현장실습 프로그램 / 학점인정 프로그램).

Hiring Process

  • Functional Interview (Bootcamp): Mid-May 2026

  • Offer Announcement: May to June 2026

  • Official start date: July 6, 2026
