Summary

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our diverse team of professionals. The Technology practice supports our customers in all phases of their SAP journey. You will work as part of a team to create the best overall strategic system landscape for the customer. You will have the opportunity to design and optimize enterprise-wide deployments of SAP technology solutions.

The Role

As a Technology Senior Consultant, you will have a good understanding of SAP product offerings and interoperability with other components as well as a high-level understanding of interface technology. You will have the opportunity to support the Account teams in the software evaluation process, to design SAP-centric solutions, prepare Implementation plans and deliver outcomes that lead to overall customer success. You will be involved in the service delivery of SAP Platform Technology solutions for our customers. The Senior Consultant is responsible for delivering quality tasks and deliverables on time and within budget. As a member of the Technology Practice, you will operate as an SAP Platform Technology specialist focusing on SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform and SAP Business AI deployments. You will have opportunities to develop your skills through various programs and attain SAP certifications on the relevant areas.

Expectations

  • Responsible for technical planning, implementation, and configuration of SAP solutions
  • Acts as a coach for colleagues and/or customers and partners of SAP Cloud Technologies
  • Detailed design and implementation of IT components. Supports system-design, performance optimization and system operations
  • Capable of defining transformation maps considering hybrid and multi-cloud environments
  • Take responsibility from time to time as a sub project lead and/or team lead
  • May act as community lead, stream lead or topic owner within an internal community
  • Show business acumen and take overarching responsibilities for topic areas internally and/or externally
  • Responsible for continually learning new and emerging technologies to deliver creative solutions of new processes, as well as effectively identify, analyse, and resolve highly complex technical issues
  • Work with customer teams to be able to understand the business needs and requirements
  • Plan and conduct customer workshops, design and build enhancements\extensions, create plans for Integration and Unit testing
  • Develop and review architecture plans
  • Support for Presales, Solution Proposals, Bid Management with Account teams

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies

  • Professional experience working as a consultant
  • Experience with design and implementation of SAP technology solutions
  • Experience of SAP full lifecycle implementation projects with a technical role/responsibility
  • SAP Platform Technology on HANA and S/4HANA solutions, with experience in upgrades, conversion to S/4HANA and OS/DB migrations
  • Have proven experience in delivering SAP Platform or ALM Technology for SAP projects, involved end to end from design to go-live phase.
  • Experience in SAP infrastructure and application security, e.g. SSO, SSL, Authorisation management.
  • Experience in SAP Signavio, SAP LeanIX, SAP CALM is desirable
  • Experience or knowledge in at least one Programming language (Python, Javascript, Java, ABAP) is desirable
  • Experience working on Cloud providers (e.g. AWS, AZURE, GCP, etc) is desirable
  • Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP HANA performance optimizations, Data Volume Management, or platform security hands-on with IAS, IAM experience in projects is a plus
  • Possess SAP certification or IT professional certification (e.g. TOGAF, ITIL)
  • Strong presence and excellent written and verbal communication skills with technical focus
  • Interested in technology, innovation, and how digital platforms can solve business challenges
