Purpose and Objective:
SAP Labs, LLC seeks a Technical Project Management Expert at our Palo Alto, CA location to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects/programs, ensuring successful outcomes, optimized processes, and value creation for stakeholders.
Expectations and Tasks:
Foster cross- functional collaboration to achieve objectives while adhering to best practices and delivering high-quality solutions. Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project/program estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conduct risk analysis and monitor the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets. Provide leadership and guidance throughout the project/program lifecycle while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align efforts and ensure successful delivery of project goals. Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and methodologies in project/program execution. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project/program outcomes and efficiency. Act as a Scrum Master in the context of LEAN and responsible that LEAN methodologies are understood and put into practice properly. Work closely with (Chief) Product Owner and Product Team and responsible for delivery aspects of a project /program. He has profound project and / or program management and actively use project management methodologies. Observe, evaluate, and introduce new Project Management concepts, processes, and technologies Internally and cross-department recognized as a project management expert. Act as a role model and live the LEAN / agile concepts. Act as role model for team members from Associate to Senior level; give feedback on skill development and training.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must involve five (5) years in the following:
- Agile, Scrum, SAFe Agile Software Development, and Lean methodology;
- JIRA, Confluence, and Wiki;
- Data visualization and reporting using JIRA and PowerBI; and
- Critical Path Method/Analysis and Work Breakdown Structure.
Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:
- Backend development tools including Java, Python, REST API, Postman, Cucumber, SQL, or Kafka; and
- Frontend development tools including HTML, JavaScript, React, SAPUI5, or Selenium.
Experience must involve two (2) years in the following:
- AI/ML tools including GitHub Copilot, MS Copilot, or NLP; and
- AWS, Azure, Docker, or Kubernetes.
License/Certification required: Certified Scrum Master.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $172,872 - $276,340. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $198,200 - $337,000. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
