SAP Premium Engagements provide strategic advisory and execution support to SAP’s largest and most complex customers. These engagements help organizations accelerate digital transformation, maximize value from SAP investments, and drive measurable business outcomes.

Role Overview

The Success Plan Manager / Technical Quality Manager (SPM-TQM) is the primary trusted advisor and orchestration lead for SAP Premium Engagement customers. This role combines the strategic responsibilities of a Success Plan Manager with the delivery leadership of a Technical Quality Manager, ensuring the end-to-end success of the customer throughout the Customer Value Journey (CVJ).

The SPM-TQM drives solution adoption, value realization, and business transformation, while orchestrating SAP’s global expertise, services portfolio, and partner ecosystem to deliver measurable outcomes. The role requires strong business acumen, deep SAP technical understanding, and exceptional stakeholder management skills.

The SPM-TQM acts as the single point of accountability for engagement success, ensuring that SAP services align with the customer’s strategic objectives, maximize adoption, and drive sustainable business value.

The role focuses on three core pillars of Premium Engagement success:

  • Trusted Relationship: Build long-term strategic partnerships with customers and executives.
  • Accelerated Adoption: Drive adoption of SAP solutions and ensure realization of business outcomes.
  • Extended Care: Provide holistic support across the customer landscape to ensure continuous value.

These three pillars are fundamental to ensuring that customers derive maximum value from SAP solutions and services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Relationship Leadership

  • Act as trusted advisor to customer executives and strategic stakeholders.
  • Establish governance structures and engagement models with customers and partners.
  • Conduct quarterly executive steering meetings demonstrating value delivered through balanced scorecards.
  • Build long-term strategic relationships across business and IT stakeholders.
  • Represent SAP in strategic customer discussions regarding digital transformation initiatives.

Establishing trust and aligned governance structures with customers is a central responsibility of the Lead TQM role.

2. Success Plan & Service Plan Management

  • Develop and manage the Success Plan / Service Plan aligned to customer transformation goals.
  • Translate customer business priorities into a structured value-driven engagement roadmap.
  • Manage execution of Premium Engagement services and ensure alignment with customer strategy.
  • Ensure ongoing monitoring and refinement of adoption plans and service delivery scope.
  • Manage engagement P&L, service delivery forecasting, and service plan execution.

Success Plan Managers orchestrate service plans and ensure delivery of premium services aligned to customer outcomes.

3. Digital Transformation & Adoption

  • Support customers in executing their digital transformation roadmap using SAP technologies.
  • Drive adoption of SAP Cloud solutions including:
    • SAP S/4HANA
    • SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
    • SAP Business AI capabilities
    • RISE with SAP and Clean Core transformations
  • Monitor adoption metrics, consumption indicators, and usage insights to maximize business value.
  • Identify new innovation opportunities across the SAP portfolio.

SPMs drive solution adoption and support transformation initiatives aligned with customer objectives.

4. Service Delivery Orchestration

  • Lead orchestration of SAP services across global delivery teams.
  • Coordinate involvement of SAP experts, engineering teams, and partners.
  • Ensure delivery quality, governance compliance, and adherence to SAP methodologies.
  • Manage service execution, including architecture reviews, optimization services, and innovation workshops.

TQMs coordinate SAP’s global resources to deliver premium services and ensure value realization.

Required Skills & Experience

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in: Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent technology experience.

Professional Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in SAP consulting, enterprise architecture, or customer success roles
  • Fluency in English and Turkish
  • Experience delivering SAP implementations or transformation programs
  • Experience managing strategic enterprise customers
  • Experience with SAP cloud solutions, digital transformation, or enterprise architecture

SAP Technology Knowledge

Strong knowledge of SAP technologies including:

  • SAP S/4HANA
  • SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
  • Cloud and SaaS architectures
  • SAP Business AI capabilities
  • Enterprise integration and hybrid landscapes

Experience with cloud transformation programs such as RISE with SAP is highly desirable.

Leadership & Soft Skills

  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and C-level executives
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to lead cross-functional and virtual global teams
  • Strong customer-centric mindset and strategic thinking
  • Excellent negotiation and de-escalation capabilities

Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills are essential competencies for Success Plan Managers.
