About SAP STAR Program
Global Student Training and Rotation (STAR) Program offers university students hands-on industry experience at SAP, the world’s leading software provider. As part of a global program across 14 countries, STAR students work on real business projects and develop professional skills. Unlike most internships, this program allows students to continue their studies at university without taking a break or needing to graduate first. Upon graduation, you will have opportunities to apply for open positions within SAP and potentially become a valued member of our team.
Education and Qualifications
Open to undergraduate and graduate students who meet the following requirements and process the core competencies listed below.
Minimum Qualifications
Expected to graduate in Feb. 2027, Aug. 2027, or Feb. 2028 (required)
Coding skills in JavaScript language(Backend & Frontend)
Experience with DBMS(Oracle or SAP HANA), SQL query or SAP Systems(ERP/BW/BO)
English verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- OLAP(Online Analytical Processing) experience
Finance system development experience
Experience working and collaborating effectively in globally dispersed teams
LEAN thinking with Scrum/Agile Development experience
Experience in handling customer issues, messages and developments
Role Overview: Developer
The program includes a rotation system that allows you to participate in three different projects or teams within the organization. Your first rotation will be in the SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Development Team.
The SAP Analytics Cloud(SAC) Planning Development team is looking for energetic and innovative STAR intern to help with our next generation SAC product development . Expectations
Responsible for development focusing on design, coding, testing, quality assurance of complex product features in a development team.
Works closely together with others and shares expertise to ensure product success.
Constantly improves own work methods to gain state-of-the-art agile software engineering skills. Enhances skills beyond own core functional focus and works on other tasks for the benefit of the team.
Be a part of an agile (SCRUM) development team
Tasks
Write high-quality code to program complete applications on schedule
Conduct for feature test automation
Troubleshoot and debug applications
Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code
Program & Work Details
18-month structured program with learning, mentorship, and rotations
Employment Type: Fixed-term Intern 18 months
Probation Period: 3 months from the date of hire (extendable if necessary)
The detailed working conditions will be subject to the employment agreement
Full-time (40 hrs/week) during breaks; part-time (20 hrs/week) or full-time during semesters
Flexible hours aligned with academic schedules
Eligible to apply for full-time roles after 9 months and graduation
Supports university field practicum / academic credit programs (대학 현장실습 프로그램 / 학점인정 프로그램).
