YOUR FUTURE ROLE

As Storyteller (f/m/d) & Innovation Lead you will be responsible for developing and executing the marketing, communication and events plans for the SAP for Startups MEE as well as the entire Corporate & GROW MEE organization. Internally you will ensure the successful communication and transparency of key growth initiatives in the entire Corporate & GROW MEE area, aimed at improving collaboration between the different digital roles, ensuring smooth digital motions and cross-functional alignment. Externally you will drive various projects aimed at increasing SAP brand awarenes in the startup market. This role requires a highly driven, eloquent and creative professional with solid understanding of SAP’s GTM strategy, especially regarding the Corporate, Partner-Led and startup business.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans and creative formats that enhance collaboration across digital roles and improve the understanding of digital initiatives both internally and externally, e.g. best practice sharing calls, townhall meetings, and partner events.
  • Create compelling storyboards and support with content preparation for keynotes and presentations at various customer, partner and industry events, ensuring the consistent representation of the MEE Corporate & GROW segment.
  • Create and curate high-quality communication content and assets for various internal and external channels, including digital platforms, newsletters, and social media.
  • Develop and execute a creative social media strategy to drive demand generation and elevate SAP brand awareness in the startup market.
  • Identify and strategically plan key startup events, including SAP-sponsored industry gatherings and flagship community events, to maximize SAP’s market presence and conversion of new customers.
  • Collaborate with marketing to enhance public awareness and establish SAP for Startups as a leading brand in the startup ecosystem.
  • Oversee the creative process from storyboarding to execution, ensuring all technical aspects of video shoots, content production, and event preparation are seamlessly integrated.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Business IT, Media & Communications, or a related field.
  • At least two years of professional experience in presales, marketing or communications, with a solid understanding of SAP business strategies and solutions.
  • Experience in the Startup industry is an advantage.
  • Experience with copywriting for different formats such as email, announcements, newsletter and social media is of advantage.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project planning skills, with the ability to manage projects within complex, global, and virtual fast-paced environments.
  • Proficient in stakeholder management, networking, and maintaining robust professional relationships.
  • Solid knowledge of SAP brand voice guidelines is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated commitment to operational excellence, with a proactive, team-oriented approach, valuing intercultural sensitivity.
  • Fluency in English and German, other languages are a plus.
