PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Sr. Demand Manager leads the Demand Management practice within the Finance and Spend solution area. This individual is responsible for engaging with stakeholders across Finance, Spend and Public Cloud ERP; aligning with the various sources of demand to ensure ongoing collaboration that drives healthy pipeline creation and progression.
Expectations and Tasks:
- Understand areas of strength and weakness across relevant solution areas and sales teams based on business results and other available KPIs
- Contribute and validate high-quality business plans which clearly articulate solution strategy, GTM activities, and key execution steps.
- Lead a cadence of regular touch-points with stakeholders such as Finance and Spend leadership, Marketing, Digital Hub, CSS, Partner Management, and others focused on securing buy-in and driving execution of these recommendations
- Understand the Finance and Spend requirements and provide appropriate, actionable high-value Sales Program/Play recommendations
- Develop demand execution strategies in partnership with Demand Management peers and key stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Digital Hub, & Partner teams as well as other demand contributors. Collaboratively plan, ensure execution, and assess results across all relevant organizations. Understand viability & repeatability of demand programs, adjust and innovate as necessary to ensure continued relevance with changing GTM dynamics.
- Build a strong internal resource network within the Americas to participate/lead in the exchange of Demand Best Practices.
- Manage across silos to deliver high impact programs
- Be considered a trusted advisor to our stakeholders and be an active role model of SAP's values.
Skillset:
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, ability to collaborate & sell internally to achieve targets
- Strong work ethic, self-starter, with an ability to operate independently
- Strong financial & business acumen, and an understanding of SAP’s Strategy and Americas GTM goals with the ability to translate these into high-impact actionable plans
- Exceptional oral and written executive communication skills, ability to create high quality, executive level deliverables
- Strong Project Management skills
- Ability to translate the process into value-add business activities
- Passion to challenge, improve and innovate at both a personal and organizational level
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Professional experience in Sales, Marketing &/or Business Development with large, multi-national software/IT organizations
- Knowledge of SAP and proven success in effectively driving cross functional collaboration to accelerate results
- Capable of leveraging an extensive network to craft impactful plans resulting in pipeline and revenue growth across multiple stakeholders
- Proven track record of driving business results

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 137300 - 294000(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
