Job Description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:

The software market in the Nordics & Baltics is characterized by a very dynamic and highly innovative landscape. The growth of enterprise applications in the region is strong, with digital transformation continuing to drive changes in existing business models. Digitalization, Sustainability, and Artificial Intelligence are fueling rapid adoption of end‑to‑end integrated Procurement and Finance solutions—especially those supporting a digital thread across Financial Close, Tax Management, GRC, Sourcing, Category Management, Direct Procurement, and Quote‑to‑Cash.

Given this acceleration, the Finance & Spend (F&S) business area is crucial for our customers, SAP, and society at large. Our team specializes in selling cloud‑based solutions that optimize Finance & Spend operations in the Nordic and Baltic region. With a strong customer focus and a mission to help companies run at their best, we continue to grow. We are now seeking a new F&S Solution Sales Executive to join our team in Sweden.

• Strong business acumen for complex enterprise organizations to identify strategic value drivers and elevate solution positioning. 8+ years of experience
Engage and consult with senior stakeholders—including CXO level—on digital transformation strategies across Finance and Procurement
Leverage deep understanding and proven track record within strategic Finance & Procurement processes to shape customer roadmaps and influence long‑term decision‑making

• Achievement of agreed (incremental) revenue & pipeline targets
• Forecasting and regular pipeline status reporting
• Full opportunity and bid management for F&S deals
• Account planning, deal acceleration and structured closing plans
• Proactive collaboration with local Industry Sales teams
• Negotiation of complex commercial and contractual structures
• Engagement with key business areas within customer organizations (development, planning, manufacturing, sales & distribution, aftersales/services)
• Promote a value‑based solution approach in collaboration with industry and product specialists
• Develop and execute local go‑to‑market strategies
• Drive demand‑generation with regional and local marketing/business development
• Build, manage and enable a strong partner ecosystem
• Share best practices across the region and market units

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

Required skills:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, Procurement, or a related field
• Strong sales attitude—from pipeline creation to closing
• Solid understanding of core supply chain and logistics processes
• Excellent communication and presentation skills at executive level
• Strong networking capabilities across customer buying centers
• Excellent organizational, strategy planning and program management skills
• Fluency in English and Swedish
Demonstrated business acumen for large, complex and multinational enterprise environments
Experience translating customer strategy into digital transformation initiatives within Finance and Procurement
Confidence and presence in strategic dialogues with senior leadership, including C‑level executives

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Strong background and track record in Professionel consulting, Account Management, Industry Sales, Solution Sales, and/or Project Sales
• 10+ years of experience in a similar sales/professional consulting role
• Experience developing and executing business plans and strategic programs
• Cross‑industry process understanding is highly beneficial
Proven experience working with complex Finance & Procurement processes (e.g., Source‑to‑Pay, Order‑to‑Cash, Record‑to‑Report, Tax, GRC, Direct Procurement)
Experience advising or consulting executives (CFO, CPO, COO) on digital transformation strategies or operating model changes
Experience navigating complex enterprise structures, governance models, and multi‑stakeholder decision environments
