Solution Sales – Finance & Spend Management

A Solution Sales Executive for Finance & Spend Management is responsible for selling SAP’s portfolio across ERP Cloud, Finance, Procurement, Supplier Management, External Workforce, and Spend Control solutions. The role focuses on driving business transformation and value realization for customers within this line of business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owns and sells the full Finance & Spend Management solution portfolio, engaging customers across CFO, CPO, and Supply Chain buying centers.
  • Builds and maintains trusted relationships with customers, prospects, and partners, ensuring long-term engagement and satisfaction.
  • Identifies opportunities by understanding customer pain points in finance transformation, procurement automation, supplier management, and spend governance.
  • Generates and accelerates demand by demonstrating how SAP capabilities address business needs such as cost optimization, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensures adoption and value realization, supporting customers throughout implementation and usage to achieve tangible outcomes (e.g., savings, process automation, visibility).
  • Drives continuity and expansion of SAP’s footprint in named accounts across strategic Finance & Spend Management initiatives.
  • Influences customer requirements and solution definition, positioning SAP as the strategic partner for end-to-end spend control and financial excellence.

  • formulates clear project plans incl. milestones, timeline and sub projects
  • communicates messages relevant for project in a timely manner and with constructive feedback to project team
  • captures opinions and expectations of stakeholder and communicates them to the project team
