What you’ll do

The HCM Technology and Cybersecurity Advisor is a key member of the SAP SuccessFactors Solution Advisory team, . This customer-facing role supports the pre-sales and early adoption lifecycle of SAP SuccessFactors, with a focus on ensuring secure, scalable, and technically sound deployment architectures for HCM cloud solutions.

Acting as a trusted advisor to customers, the role blends HCM domain knowledge, cloud architecture expertise, and cybersecurity leadership. You will help customers understand the technical implications and best practices for deploying SAP SuccessFactors in complex enterprise environments.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

In this role, you will:

  1. Act as a technology and security subject matter expert for SAP SuccessFactors during pre-sales, solutioning, and early implementation phases.
  2. Conduct customer-facing workshops to assess existing HCM technology landscapes and define secure, scalable future-state architectures for SAP SuccessFactors deployment.
  3. Provide guidance on integrating SAP SuccessFactors with existing HR, payroll, identity management, and security platforms.
  4. Advise customers on non-functional aspects such as data privacy, cloud security, access governance, identity management, and compliance (e.g., GDPR).
  5. Collaborate with sales, customer success, and implementation teams to align customer needs with product capabilities and roadmap.
  6. Coordinate with SAP global security, compliance, and platform teams to ensure regional and industry-specific security requirements are addressed.
  7. Support the sales cycle by contributing to solution design, RFx responses, and pricing activities in partnership with solution and commercial teams.
  8. Represent SAP’s point of view on cybersecurity, cloud governance, and risk mitigation as it relates to the SuccessFactors platform.
  9. Ability to provide functional overview of the SAP SF HCM products is an additional plus.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • High proficiency in presenting to business and technical audiences, including HR IT, CISOs, and cloud architects.
  • Reasonable understanding of SAP SuccessFactors modules, including architecture, extensibility, and integration options.
  • Knowledge of HR domain processes across Hire-to-Retire is a plus
  • Strong grasp of cloud infrastructure, networking, data protection, and identity and access management (IAM).
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements relevant to HCM systems (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
  • Experience with or knowledge of one or more hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable.
  • Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM), cloud architecture, or SAP technologies are an advantage.
  • Fluency in English is required

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of experience in SAP consulting, presales, or solution architecture roles, preferably in HCM or cloud security domains.
  • Strong exposure to customer-facing engagements involving SAP SuccessFactors or other HCM cloud platforms
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platform services and their security models.
  • Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation projects in HR/People Technology.
  • Prior exposure to SAP BTP, Integration Suite, or Identity Authentication Services (IAS) is a plus.
