Solution Advisor Senior Specialist

Salary:  $137,300 – $294,000 per annum

The Team

What You'll Do:

As a Presales Solution Advisor, you'll bring deep expertise across SAP Finance solutions to help customers envision what's possible. Key solution areas include:

  • Core Finance (GL, AR, AP)

  • Federal Finance Accounting

  • Asset Accounting

  • Project Accounting

  • Funds Management highly preferred

  • Grants Management highly preferred

Deal Support

  • Conduct discovery sessions to build strong customer relationships and uncover business needs

  • Personalize demo scenarios to highlight key value drivers in a simple, engaging format

  • Showcase deep SAP and industry knowledge through relevant customer proof points

  • Lead completion of RFx documents in coordination with account teams

  • Present remotely using virtual tools with professionalism and impact

  • Provide limited post-sale support to ensure smooth customer handoff and implementation

  • Serve as Solution Captain for complex deals, coordinating multiple presales contributors

  • Effectively leverage internal support teams to drive successful presentations and outcomes

Demand Generation

  • Support virtual and on-site sales and marketing events to showcase SAP solutions

  • Lead and participate in customer workshops to inspire customer innovation

  • Collaborate with sales to identify and pursue strategic whitespace opportunities

  • Develop and execute engaging digital content (e.g., demo recordings, video explainers) to amplify solution impact

Sales Readiness

  • Stay current with SAP solution releases and proactively promote new capabilities

  • Contribute to demo system design, planning, and configuration for customer scenarios

  • Participate in product testing, feedback cycles, and knowledge sharing across Solution Hubs

  • Serve as a mentor or champion for internal training initiatives and enablement efforts

Qualifications and Experience – Do yours line up?

What You Bring:

  • SAP Expertise

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC
  • Familiarity with SAP Finance modules such as Funds Management, Grants Management, and Asset Accounting
  • SAP customer or consulting experience highly regarded
  • Federal/Public Sector Experience

  • Prior experience working for or with U.S. Federal Government agencies

  • Understanding of federal budgeting and financial regulations

  • Presales & Solution Delivery

  • Experience in presales, software demos, or solution consulting

  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills to engage executive audiences

  • Experience leading or supporting SAP design thinking workshops and sales cycles

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field required

  • Advanced degrees such as an MBA, Master’s in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration a plus

  • CPA certification or prior CPA licensure is highly valued

  • SAP Certifications in relevant modules (e.g. SAP Finance, Funds Mgmt, Grants Mgmt) preferred but not required

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 137300 - 294000(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
