Job Description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) is at the heart of SAP’s data and AI strategy. It enables organizations to unify, model, and activate their business data—across SAP and non-SAP systems—to deliver trusted analytics, intelligent insights, and AI-driven outcomes. Combining SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP HANA Cloud, partner ecosystems, and AI capabilities, BDC provides a modern data foundation for data products, governance, semantic modeling, federated data access, and enterprise-scale analytics.

As part of SAP’s UK & Ireland Solution Advisory organization, the BDC team serves as the region’s trusted experts for Data & AI engagements. Based in the UK, this team leads strategic conversations with CIOs, CDOs, data leaders, and transformation stakeholders—advising on modern data architectures, data strategy, analytics, and AI adoption. The team works across complex enterprise accounts, providing deep technical and functional expertise to help customers realize measurable value from SAP Business Data Cloud.

What you’ll do:

• Act as the primary Data & AI solution expert for SAP Business Data Cloud across the UK & Ireland Market Unit.

• Provide deep presales expertise across SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Databricks, and SAP HANA Cloud.

• Deliver standard and customized demos, executive briefings, and workshops that demonstrate data-to-value outcomes.

• Lead discovery, data maturity assessments, solution scoping, and architecture reviews.

• Support opportunity qualification, business case development, and deal progression with Account Teams.

• Design end-to-end modern data architectures including data warehousing, data fabric, analytics, and AI readiness.

• Lead proofs-of-concept and feasibility assessments for complex data and AI scenarios.

• Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader, shaping account strategy and differentiated Data & AI positioning.

• Ensure effective transition to Services and Partners and support ongoing adoption, expansion, and renewals.

What you bring:

• 7–15 years of experience in presales, consulting, or solution architecture within data, analytics, or AI domains.

• Strong expertise in SAP Business Data Cloud, including Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, HANA Cloud, and SAP application data models.

• Experience with hyperscaler data platforms and ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP; Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric).

• Strong understanding of modern data architectures, data warehousing/lakehouse, analytics, and AI/ML concepts.

• Proven ability to lead customer-facing demos, workshops, POCs, and executive engagements.
