The Finance & Spend Line of Business is responsible for driving business transformation across Cloud ERP Public, Finance & Q2C, Procurement, and Travel & Expense, thereby addressing the business stakeholders' CFO and CPO. As a Solution Advisor Specialist for Finance, you are responsible for helping customers and prospects shape and realize their end-to-end finance transformation journey. It comprises business advisory, demand generation, and presales execution activities, with a strong focus on end-to-end processes and business outcomes to support the sales account strategy.

Your Key Responsibilities and Tasks

The (Senior) Solution Advisory Specialist (f/m/d) for Finance will be responsible for:

  • Acting as a trusted finance transformation advisor to CFO organizations, covering end-to-end finance processes in the following areas (Financial Planning, Accounting & Close, Treasury & Working Capital, Q2C, Tax, Trade, Governance, Risk and Compliance), including S4HANA cloud transformation processes.
  • Interactions with prospective customers through executive meetings, discovery conversations, solution demonstrations, tender procedures, executive presentations, and follow-up discussions.
  • Creation and coordination of demand-generation activities for the CFO's buying center.
  • Support of post-sales activities to ensure customer implementation and adoption.
  • Collaboration with multiple key stakeholders (e.g., SAP Product Management, SAP Product Marketing, SAP Finance and Spend Management Solution Sales Executives, SAP Finance and Spend Management Customer Success Managers, SAP Sales, SAP Market Units).
  • Creation and coordination of joint go-to-market activities with SAP consulting partners.
  • Supporting the education of partners and SAP sales teams on selling the SAP financial portfolio.

What are our expectations for your contributions?

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required. A master’s degree or an MBA is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end Finance processes, with hands-on exposure to ERP-based transformations.
  • Broader know-how in Q2C, Treasury, and Financial Planning, and other ERP process areas (e.g., procurement, sales) is a plus.
  • 7+ years of professional working experience in customer-facing roles like consulting or presales/customer advisory.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect finance challenges to strategic outcomes.
  • Sales-driven, hands-on mindset to aim for long-term lasting success for our customers and SAP.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to navigate a complex matrix organization on various levels.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and the local language of the specific country.
