Job Description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

About SAP and the Role

SAP is a global leader in enterprise application software. Our purpose is to help the world run better and improve people’s lives. We enable our customers to innovate, operate efficiently, and grow sustainably. At SAP, you’ll find room to learn, explore, and shape your own path—because our people are at the heart of our success.

We are now looking for a Data & AI Solution Advisor Expert to join our team in Finland. In this role, you will work closely with our Sales teams and customers—often large enterprises or strategic partners—to guide them in understanding, adopting, and maximizing the value of SAP Data & AI solutions.

What You’ll Do

As a Solution Advisor, you are the sales team’s trusted expert for all topics related to SAP Data & AI. You will support the entire sales cycle, from early opportunity identification to post-sale engagement, helping customers expand their SAP landscape and realize tangible business value.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide deep, solution-specific expertise to drive new sales and customer adoption.

· Serve as a spokesperson for SAP Data & AI at customer events, webinars, and industry forums.

· Deliver compelling standard and custom demonstrations that show the real value of SAP solutions.

· Support Account Teams with tailored presentations, workshops, and events to identify and qualify opportunities.

· Assess opportunity fit and recommend where further investment is justified.

· Act as a thought leader within the account team, contributing to strategic planning and competitive positioning.

· Collaborate on messaging themes and differentiation for key pursuits.

· Lead dry runs and preparation sessions for strategic customer engagements.

· Ensure a smooth handover to implementation partners or SAP Services when deals progress.

· Continue engaging customers after the sale to reinforce SAP’s vision and support long-term adoption and renewals.

· Use SAP’s digital assets—demos, presentations, content—to enhance every stage of the customer journey.

What You Bring

· Professional experience in large software or IT organizations, ideally within a solution-specific area.

· SAP product experience and/or plus 5 years of relevant solution or technology expertise.

· Strong understanding of Cloud, Hosted Services, and SaaS/PaaS models in a B2B environment.

· Recognized expertise in Data Management with practical, hands-on experience. Technical knowledge of the SAP Data Landscape is expected, including SAP BW, Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP HANA, and BTP Data & Analytics components.

· Solid understanding of AI concepts in enterprise scenarios, with a strong curiosity to experiment, validate use cases, and inspire customers through practical and innovative AI-driven solutions.

· Ability to craft compelling storylines and themes for customer interactions.

· Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly understand customer goals and keep them at the center of all recommendations.

· High energy, passion, and a customer-first mindset in all interactions.

Meet Your Team

· Customer Advocate – Collaborate closely to complement solution expertise and elevate the customer experience.

· Global Digital Content Factory – Leverage high-quality digital assets and demos throughout customer engagements.

· Implementation Partners / SAP Services & Delivery – Ensure smooth handover for successful deployment and value realization.

· SAP Account Teams – Share best practices and jointly shape customer strategy across the entire lifecycle.

Education, Qualifications & Competencies

Personal Skills

· Bachelor’s degree (minimum requirement).

· Master’s degree (optional).

· Ability to work effectively in international and virtual teams.

· Fluency in Finnish and English; additional languages are an asset.

Mobility

· Willingness and ability to travel as required.
