What you'll build
As a Services Senior Account Executive (f/m/d) (SAE), you will be a key driver in expanding our Services business and managing strategic relationships within our Strategic Customer Program Account for Daimler Truck. You will represent SAP Services in sales and business development, ensuring customer success and long-term growth.
Your Responsibilities:
Account & Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives in your assigned accounts.
- Serve as the primary contact for the customer, representing SAP Services to expand our footprint.
- Contribute to the long-term success of customer and partner relationships.
- Manage the customer relationship holistically, combining Services and Cloud Business.
Demand Generation & Pipeline Management:
- Identify and qualify opportunities based on a deep understanding of customer challenges.
- Drive opportunities from initial engagement to deal closure.
Sales Excellence:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to address customer priorities and pain points.
- Take ownership of booking and revenue targets for services in your assigned accounts.
- Manage opportunities and bids in alignment with SAP’s governance and sales processes.
Leading a (Virtual) Account Team:
- Coordinate internal and external resources to deliver winning sales and support strategies.
- Collaborate effectively within the SAP ecosystem, applying value-selling and solution-selling techniques.
What you bring
- 5+ years of experience in quota-carrying sales within the enterprise software and services industry.
- Proven track record in account management, opportunity generation, and deal closure.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software projects and lifecycle management.
- Experience working with large multinational customers (international exposure is a plus).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Fluent in Business English and German; additional languages are an advantage.
