Job Description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

What you’ll build

As a Service Engagement Architect, you will act as the critical bridge between complex SAP RISE/Cloud ERP transformation challenges and the specialized capabilities of the SAP Data Migration & Landscape Transformation (DMLT) Service Portfolio. This is an end-to-end solution role, responsible for orchestrating presales, technical bid strategy, and defining the complete architecture for major data initiatives.

Your work will directly impact customer success by ensuring proposed solutions align with executive vision and deliver practical, high-value outcomes for transformation execution.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Orchestrating end-to-end presales and solutioning for SAP RISE and cloud ERP transformations
  • Leading technical bid management, solution demonstrations, and presentations of SAP RISE/BDC/AI capabilities
  • Managing assigned opportunities from start to finish and actively driving presales cycles in partnership with sales and subject matter experts
  • Collaborating with customers to assess transformation requirements and define project scope
  • Leading technical assessment workshops and defining solution approaches for data migration and transformation projects
  • Driving adoption of DMLT automation topics within customer projects
  • Supporting development of project plans, RACI matrices, and Statements of Work (SOWs)

What you bring

  • 10+ years of SAP services sales or presales experience
  • 5+ years in bid approval and bid management processes
  • Strong understanding of M&A, divestiture, and data transformation project execution
  • Basic knowledge of SAP FI, CO, MM, and SD, with ability to articulate process flows and service impacts
  • Deep functional expertise in at least one area: Finance, Logistics, BW, BDC, or Data Integration
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA data migration and transition scenarios
  • SAP project management experience, including creating draft project plans and SOWs
  • Strong leadership and executive-level engagement skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to estimate financial impact of solution architecture alternatives
  • Proven experience delivering services in remote environments and mentoring teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Where you belong

You’ll join Data Management and Landscape Transformation (DMLT), a global organization within SAP’s Customer Service & Delivery board area, with more than 500 consultants worldwide. Our mission is to enable customers to intelligently connect people, data, and processes — ensuring data becomes a true asset for innovation and sustainable growth.

DMLT offers a holistic approach to data-related needs, covering data quality, integration, and transformation. We help customers fast-track migrations, manage complex transformations, and optimize processes for SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Business Data Cloud, and beyond.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that values innovation, learning, and career progression. Expect exposure to cutting-edge technologies, global projects, and opportunities to shape SAP’s transformation engine.
