SAP is looking for a DMLT Service Engagement Architect. The architect acts as the critical bridge between complex SAP RISE/Cloud ERP transformation challenges and the specialized capabilities of the SAP Data Migration & Landscape Transformation (DMLT) Service Portfolio. This is an end-to-end solution role, responsible for orchestrating presales, technical bid strategy, and defining the complete architecture for major data initiatives.

You will combine technical and functional knowledge of SAP data structures with an acute sense of user empathy and a strategic, analytical mindset, ensuring the proposed solution not only meets the client's executive vision but also delivers practical, high-value outcomes for transformation execution.

What you will do:

  • Orchestrate end-to-end presales and solutioning for SAP RISE and cloud ERP transformations driving technical and functional delivery for data migration and transformation initiatives as per SAP DMLT Service Portfolio​
  • Engage in strategic selling, lead technical bid management, solution demonstrations, and presentation of SAP RISE/BDC/AI capabilities, ensuring alignment between customer executive vision and technical solution mechanics.
  • Own assigned incoming opportunities start to finish and actively manage presales cycles in partnership with sales, customer, and SAP subject experts (Platform, Functional, SAP DMLT, Others).
  • Collaborate closely with customers to assess transformation requirements, by quickly ramping up on DMLT Service portfolio to manage the Opportunity pipeline with limited support.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their transformation needs
  • Lead and deliver technical assessment workshops with customers to define project scope
  • Define solution approach and business blueprinting for data migration and data transformation projects
  • Discuss the DMLT solution portfolio with customers and sales teams to generate demand
  • Assist in the development of the overall project plan (scoping process) as well as individual work plans
  • Handle all incoming enquiries and opportunities on a timely manner by actively engaging with the customer, sales teams and subject matter experts
  • Drive the adoption of DMLT Automation topics within customer projects

What are we looking for:

  • 10+ years experience SAP services sales or presales
  • 5+ years experience in Bid approval and bid management process
  • Good understanding of how M&A, divestiture and data transformation projects are executed
  • Basic understanding of SAP FI, SAP CO, SAP MM and SAP SD. You should be able to articulate the process flows and impact on the services being offered from SAP DMLT leveraging the existing knowledge base.
  • Deeper business and functional understanding in at least one of these topics: Finance, Logistic, BW and BDC, Data Integration
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA Data Migration and the different transition scenarios.
  • SAP Project Management Experience to quickly create draft project lans, RACI's, SOW's
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead customer engagements at an executive level
  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to estimate the financial impact of various solution architecture alternatives
  • Proven experience with delivering services in a remote environment with various key stakeholders and various remote teams.
  • Proven expertise and commitment to knowledge management and mentoring
  • Experience with license and services pre-sales activities
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields
