SAP's Digital Supply Chain (DSC) Cloud supports the real-time supply chain with comprehensive processes to manage the complete extended Digital Supply Chain – from Design, demand planning, manufacturing, to delivery and operate. Within the ERP Cloud engineering organization, the DSC Cloud engineering unit owns a variety of products like SAP Enterprise Product Development (EPD), SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), SAP Logistics Management (LGM), SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC), and SAP Asset Performance Management (APM). The DSC Cloud solutions are highly integrated with SAP S/4 HANA and with this contribute toward end-to-end processes.

We are looking for a Product Manager for SAP Logistics Management (SAP LGM) with focus on mobile app strategy and user experience to support operations on the floor, ensuring intuitive, reliable, and efficient mobile experiences for end users. With SAP Logistics Management we are developing a cloud-native, modular, integrated, network centric and AI driven end-to-end logistics suite solution on BTP including warehousing and transportation capabilities. As key pillar of our vision for an autonomous supply chain SAP Logistics Management will be SAP’s next generation, best-in-class offering for logistics execution and targets to offer fully integrated real-time end-to-end visibility, dynamic capacity management, prescriptive decision-making, proven automation and exception-based user interaction.

As a Product Manager, you will translate market requirements and customer feedback from various channels into a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the overall DSC Logistics strategy and roadmap. In this role you have direct access to experts throughout our product management, product marketing and engineering organization. You will impact the product strategy and development roadmap based on customer feedback.

In your role as Product Expert (f/m/d) you will:

• Influence SAP Logistics Management product roadmap, product backlog and priorities based on strategic direction, market insights and customer requirements

• Break down problems to solve into executable packages for the product development teams, defining clear use cases and user journeys for mobile applications that enable efficient on-the-floor operations

• Drive discovery including user research and feedback sessions to explore new areas

• Closely interact with the development experts on solution approaches and issue resolution

• Test developed functionality and continuously validate and verify market fit

• Drive selected foundation topics like authorizations, extensibility and API concepts, metering and usage tracking, digital assistant integration and business configuration

• Engage with key customers regarding their SAP Logistics product usage and project implementations, including advising them on process best practices in this space

• Work within an international team of product specialists and experts on fast resolution of customer feedback cases and create pragmatic solutions

• Oversee and manage strategic as well as critical customer projects to ensure customer success

• Work with partners to increase the adoption

• Collaborate with colleagues in the DSC Logistics organization, as well as colleagues from Solution Management and Sales & Marketing

• Present the product strategy and roadmap in customer meetings, partner events and SAP internal meetings

What you bring

• Experienced supply chain management expert with an academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Business Administration, or related field, advanced degree is a plus

• Good understanding of logistic processes

• Understanding of mobile user experience principles, such as offline capability, performance optimization, and usability in operational environments (e.g., warehouses)

• Good understanding and network with T&I and Business Technology Platform (BTP)

• Highly interested in new technologies, curious to learn and open to changes

• A functioning network within the SAP Supply Chain and Technology community, e.g., consulting or partner ecosystem

• Experience with customer interaction and software implementations is a plus

• Experience in mobile app development or product management is a plus

• Ability to quickly understand customer business process requirements and translate them into software requirements, ability to prioritize is highly important

• Strong presentation skills – experience interacting with different stakeholders

• Experience in working with customers and partners in international environments

• Fluent written and spoken English skills

You should also have a thorough understanding of Supply Chain processes, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to advise our customers regarding the usage of our Logistics software solutions. You should be accustomed to working within a fast-paced, multi-cultural organization, with open and frank dialogue, where time-to-market, productivity and efficiency are critical success factors.
