Job Title: Senior Presales Specialist

Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Senior Presales Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location to lead technical discussions on application architecture, integration, development, and process automation (RPA).
Expectations and Tasks:
Prepare and deliver compelling, value-based software demonstrations/presentations that differentiate us from other vendors. Guide deal strategy by providing insight into the technical buyer and our solution portfolio. Become a trusted advisor to key decision makers and executives both during the initial sales cycle, as well as through the adoption and renewal phases. Understand and convey the business outcomes and business value gained from SAP’s technology solutions. Respond to RFI’s and RFP’s in a compelling way. Lead complex sales cycles with multiple solution advisors. Use creativity and storytelling to reinforce your message. Support one-to-many sales and marketing events both on-site and remotely. Participate in demo system design and planning. Mentor fellow Solution Advisors and share your knowledge and thought leadership with the broader solution advisory team.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must involve three (3) years in the following:
SAP BASIS or SAP ABAP;
SAP application administration;
Moving SAP to hyperscalers such as Amazon or Google;
SAP Netweaver, ECC or S/4 Hana; and
SAP OS/DB migration and upgrade.
Travel: Position requires up to 50% domestic travel to various and unanticipated client sites.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $140,795 - $205,800. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $172,900 - $294,000. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
