What you’ll build

We are looking for a Senior Operations Specialist to join the SAP Labs Operations, reporting directly to the Managing Director. Тhe team drives SAP’s strategic initiatives for our people, our innovation culture, and the sustainable growth of our location. The nature of the role combines culture and innovation enablement, project and program coordination and hands‑on operational excellence.

Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the local point of contact for SAP’s Welcome Onboarding Week (WOW) for the new hires by coordinating all logistics and onsite activities for it and other engagement initiatives partnering with Facility, HR, IT, and Security teams.

  • Initiate, promote, and organize internal hackathons across Lines of Business, encouraging creativity, experimentation, and cross team collaboration.

  • Support SAP Labs’ participation in global innovation programs such as AI hackathons and InnoWeeks.

  • Col-lead the local Tech News initiative by curating and sharing relevant innovation stories from across the Lab.

  • Lead Growth Culture activities in the Lab, helping embed SAP’s GROWTH behaviors in daily work

  • Support local patent related initiatives, including inventor engagement and IP awareness activities.

  • Oversee day to day Lab operations, ensuring smooth vendor coordination and strong cross functional alignment.

  • Ensure compliance with mandatory trainings and uphold a high standard of operational discipline.

  • Maintain the Lab’s central document archive and ensure consistent, organized document management practices.

  • Prepare documentation for both local and central operational processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Track, follow up on, and manage action items across key programs to support progress and accountability.

  • Provide executive assistant support (meetings, logistics, preparation) where required.

What you bring

  • 10+ years of experience in operations, administration, or similar roles.

  • Experience in project management, communications, or program coordination is an advantage.

  • Excellent organizational, coordination, and communication abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with ownership and high‑quality execution.

  • Strong attention to detail, diligence, compliance and a results‑driven mindset.

  • A passion for people experience, innovation, culture‑building, and continuous improvement.

  • Fluency in English; strong writing and presentation skills are a plus.
