Summary:

At SAP LeanIX, we're building the leading SaaS platform for Enterprise Architecture — helping global companies drive transformation, now with the backing of SAP. We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a stronger focus on backend development to top continue exploring and growing our integration with the SAP ecosystem. By bringing that data into LeanIX Enterprise Architecture Transformation, we let enterprises understand and govern their SAP systems with confidence.

What you bring:

  • Product mindset: you want to understand the customer problems to craft a solution with the team that truly helps them.
  • Shipping code daily—often several times a day—and celebrating every small win.
  • Working shoulder-to-shoulder with the team: debating customer problems, sketching solutions on a whiteboard, pair-programming, and giving thoughtful code reviews.
  • Keeping customers front-of-mind, measuring impact, and iterating quickly on feedback.
  • Writing tests as naturally as writing functions, and treating quality as a shared responsibility.
  • Maintaining a respectful, constructive atmosphere, handling disagreements with empathy and facts.


Skills:

  • Holistic architecture mindset—you understand how services, databases, APIs, and micro-frontends work together and can spot weak links.
  • Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript, including async patterns, testing, and performance tuning.
  • Frontend proficiency with Angular (or another modern framework and the drive to master Angular in a micro-frontend setup).
  • API craftsmanship: you design clean REST endpoints, integrate third-party services, and aren't afraid to explore new domains—SAP APIs included.
  • Cloud-native workflow: Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD (GitHub Actions or similar) feel like home.
  • Clear English communication in meetings, docs, and code reviews—across a distributed, multicultural team.
  • Natural organiser: you can scope work, rally collaborators, unblock yourself and others, and steer a feature from idea to production.
